An insanely great way to open a show. Also the sea of lights that light up over the whole audience is everyone wearing creepy masks whose third eyes light up red on command -- you can see a tiny glimpse of the masks near the end. SU-METAL is elevated from Queen to Goddess on her 20th birthday with this huge concert/show/ceremony -- but then she was crucified with much ceremony in her sweet 16 birthday concert, so there is a bit of precedence here. On the other hand: while BABYMETAL can pull off really great arena shows, they do not need them to shine. My greatest experience with them was at a small show in Strasbourg with only a barebones production, where I was free to focus down to the smallest the details of their personal performances, the playing of instruments, the dancing, the singing, audience interaction and even the way they use facial&body expressions both consciously and instinctively. I came away more awestruck than I have ever been at anything...

⚡ 💀 💕 / ☂️ 🌈 It's crazy that this song had its live debut back in 2013, but has only been performed live five times, including the two performances for Legend S in Hiroshima. Of course Su's voice just keeps getting better. That last line "An endless rain fills my heart, forever." always gets me. And makes that X-Japan connection very clear.

Great reaction guys. My admiration for this band comes from recognizing they have created a place of themes and music for themselves that literally can't be competed with. It's the highest of artistic achievements and I find it inspiring on many levels.
