The last jedi was absolute disaster, so by the time of episode IX they had litteraly nothing to do...how much better would it be if instead of SoMeHoW pAlPaTiNe ReTuRnEd we got much older JarJar being the "final boss". Hell even leaving rest of this non-sensical plot with no changes whatsoever it would make the movie so much better

Lucas clearly gave up Jar Jar Binks and his original role in the story was rewriten as 2 characters which are Count Dooku and General Grevious (btw Jar Jar is a general too) Jar jar was supposed to reveal his true self in ep2 and fight yoda in an epic cgi fight. He would scape from that fight just like dooku did and he would become the jedi slayer that general grevious came to be during the clone wars and he would eventually be defeated by obiwan in ep 3

My ideal lightsaber is a light foil with an orange color. It would have two orange crystals so I can use trakata. It would have a wrapped hilt with a black tsuba. A blade length of 22 inch blade

if the rule of 2 was a "bad Idea", then why were they able to successfully have complete control of the galaxy? They had so much power that they were able to almost wipe out the jedi to the point of extinction for some time. The Sith always worked better when they were in the shadows. Unseen, hidden, never truly revealing themselves to the galaxy until episode 1. Even if things turned around for the worst for them, it still was a successful plan

What about Yoda? He could be argued to have done the most to contribute to the failure of the Jedi, enacting policies that slowly eroded the order from within. If anyone destroyed the Jedi, it was him, through centuries of bad decisions, as well as bad advice throughout. I could see Yoda and Palpatine being descended from different Sith Lords, competing for the glory of destroying the Jedi. He is also well versed in secret Sith lore

I think on paper this is sound as all the DNA strands are there but in execution, having Palpy be the one behind it all makes it way more feasible. I'm not saying it couldn't have been done in the films, but best left as a unconfirmed theory but a damn good one.

Coming back to this after a year after i had forgotten my previous answer points. A year ago i got purple, now i have yellow. Thats a weird jump. Ive just recently designed and built a lightsaber set. A quick release dueling saberstaff with improvements on ventress' design, the release can be activated mid combat, with a small twist and one of the hilts has a telescoping pike handle with a button release. It is 3 combinations in 1. It's aesthetically got reneissance flourishes with a disc and bar guard each end, and the inside curve of the hilt is leather and gold chain filligree. It's paired with a double ended light dagger, 9"blades with similar aesthetic stylings, but a knuckle guard wrapped in zillo beast hide primarily used for blast deflection and parrying.

Darth Jar Jar theory could just save the second triology disaster... Trickster, jokester, that acted clumsy and still defeated robots, could actually boost the story.

Jar jar being the fucking opposite than yoda is the final confirmation for me, green vs red, tall vs short, wise and cautious vs outspoken and clumsy
