I just don't think that's fully true about the super teams. We had 4 different major winners and it was arguably the closest competition within the top four the CDL has ever seen? How can you say Cloud9 and Ultra need to blow it up? It's just reactionary.

honestly, i think part of the problem is a lot of the league in general has gone to signing younger/ newer players that aren’t ready to play in the league yet. Thieves is literally the only young team this year that looked even half decent at events. NYSL and Toronto have 1 younger player and all vets. OpTic and FaZe have all vets. those are your top 4 teams…. teams in general need some more veteran players that can still go to actually mentor/ help younger players improve and understand the game more instead of having 1 vet and all young guys, where the vet is subsiding igl to a younger player who really doesn’t know what he’s doing yet. i’m not saying the newer players are bad at all or hating, i’m just saying when you don’t have mentors that are actually teaching you how to play pro level as opposed to young guys running around like they’re playing ranked. i just want to see a more competitive league. no matter who you’re a fan of, better competition will not only make better players but also create more interest/ viewership.

If they keep up with the city based stuff, get rid of online cod and bring back home stands and let all the teams compete instead of leaving 2 teams out like they did in MW2019. Another added benefit to the home stands is fans from all over get to enjoy cod LIVE instead of fighting for tickets at 4-5 events. Thats just my opinion.

Teams need to understand that the best way to approach profitability and build a true fanbase is by consistently uploading KZfaq videos with their players. Just follow the same route as Optic & Faze and over time people will care about you. It’s not hard at all, I can’t believe how brain dead most of the people running these orgs are, it’s not hard to just be active on socials and make a fanbase on KZfaq.

Wait I cannot remember when GenG was in COD. GENG are going to be huge seriously they might be one of the best teams In the league. They hire incredibly well. Look at league of legends and Valorant. They have some of the best coaching staff in all the scenes

So is it fair to say that it is the CDL, not the teams, that want a 12-team league? I feel like they are trying to prevent a 16-team league, at least at this time.

I’m hearing this whole Cell play style discussion again. Wasn’t it not even 2 or 3 years ago everyone was telling Cell he needed to slow down play the objective and let his superstars (Simp & Abezy) play faster and get the kills? So now we’re switching it back to how it was. Next year everyone will be screaming for Cell to slow down again.
