These were the days. I spent my high school years and early 20s in the mid to late 70s and early 80s going to rock concerts at Winterland, Day on the Green, The Keystone, The Fillmore, etc. I was listening to KTIM North Bay Noise radio and spinning LPs with my buddies. Nothing like those days and this brand of music.

I was there as well, I grew up in Garfield which is next to Passaic NJ where the Capital Theatre was and this show. I just finished HIgh School, big Aynsley Dunbar fan then, listening to Zappa, BOwie Pin UPs, ROnson Slaughter n 10th ave etc…the met him and Greg Rollie at the stage door out back….later became friends with Aynskey in Califoenia between 1995- 1998..talk about full circle

Ooh a little sloppy on the guitar there Neal? I mean this was '74 so he was like what, twelve years old out there? Christ these guys look like kids. This is the band that would go on to define a generation. But these old prog jams always do it for me. (edit: Okay sorry Neal it is clearly a series of very unfortunate tape glitches)

The crowd did not realize what they were witnessing. Steve got lukewarm reaction to a beautiful goodbye in the city by the bay!! This makes me cry . I forever yours “faithfully “ the 90s were upon us. Nirvana

How come that every guitar player that came out around this time and before had a much better guitar sound then anyone today?I guess they didn't use any high gain bullshit amps back then.

I miss raw real music like this that reaches down in your soul and tears your heart completely out, unbridled talent never to be duplicated or heard in its organic original form ever again. At the time I never thought it would fade. And then, this LAME ASS crowd, shameful just shameful. Steve Perry - THE GOAT, I will love you forever.❤

The band was not playing the correct tempo. They refused to smile or relate to the crowd. They just left Steve hanging out there. Could they have looked more passed off? I don't think so...😡

Kind of a dud crowd. I would have been screaming the words out! Even the people wandering around behind them were annoying. It was thoughtful of them to go and pay tribute. ❤

STEVE PERRY RAW & PURE TALENT. JOURNEY WAS ONE LUCKY BAND TO HAVE STEVE AS THEIR LEAD SINGER & FRONTMAN !!! I ❤❤❤😊😊😊CAN LISTEN TO STEVE SING ALWAYS !!!
Journey's last "live" performance together, minus Ross and Smith. After Perry touring solo in 94, they reunited for the Trial By Fire album, but due to Perry's hip issue, no tour, and he was fired. Steve Augeri was hired, and then Arnel, after Augeri's voice gave out from the constant touring.

He is really good, but for some reason, Steve Perry didn't think that he was a good fit, so Ainsley was let go 😔. All their preceeding drummers are good, also.
