Are those boots for Buckin Billy Ray??
@dereckjtbear2175Күн бұрын
Firstly,It's a shame these Boots didn't get the deserving attention of a little care,Clean considering they're Not cheap rubbish from China mass produced. The transformation is incredible I must commend the outstanding workmanship by the craftsman I hope the owner takes a little more care of these beauties.🤩

bold statement that "human foot remain the same through the millenia". also, claiming that there was a great last invented 100 years ago and that **now** you are suddenly using it as if it would be something new or revolutionary isn't really as big flex as you think it is

*Some are complaining that only the shaft is being used. That's because the shaft is in not too bad of shape and good enough to keep 😅 It's totally ok to rebuild boots. They do it all the time. People super commonly do it for sentimental reasons. It's valid 😊 I think the contrast with the old and new is great! It adds more life to the boots to be used much more! I did read the description and I know it was for entertainment purposes only. However, the owner may or may not use them. But still it does add life to them. They did an awesome job!*

It must be very satisfying to take a dirty, dried out pair of boots and make them viable and useful again. My son wears caulks for work and they are very expensive.

Love my old Corcoran jump boots so much that I ordered a pair of Nicks with Thurman last and toe cap. Wish Nicks could rebuild my old jump boots to be like Nicks.

difference between Thurman NW and Thurman 55 ?
@dstrbd2232 күн бұрын
I would assume it’s the same difference between the regular HNW and 55. The 55 is higher heel with more arch support.
@nicksboots10 сағат бұрын
The ThurmanNW has a moderate arch and the Thurman55 has a classic high arch.

Love seeing the tooling and the jigs, the techniques, the close tolerances repeated mostly by eye at speed, NOW that is skill resulting form hundreds of years of experience and MUST be preserved. Robot's cant do this, they can't put love and soul into anything they do or feel pride and love for their work and contribution to the world, but these great craftsmen can.

Okay okay great results, but what's the point of this? Could be cheaper if buy a completely new one lol.
@TThomas-si7yn3 күн бұрын
Hahaha! It's not that I don't like them, necessarily, but my first thought was to imagine some Superintendent, stepping out of their work truck with those alligator babies, all nice and clean and shiny...like some cartel guy, with a set of alligator cowboy boots; oohhh...or, even better, some of those ostrich boots. Just a funny little visual there. I would absolutely wear them, so long as they're nicely waterproof, have a composite shank in the sole (for climbing), and composite safety toes (because, electricity). Now, THAT is how you work your ass off in style.

Have a similar duel density outsole on my most comfortable combat boots. Definitely a better option that than wedge soles in my opinion.

Nicks couldn't make my extra wide tactical boots with the Sierra sole. But they solved the issue with the max wedge. I look forward to getting my boots and like the look of the new max wedge better. Happy to wait longer to get a better product for my needs.

These are cool videos, but can you please make one video that shows each of the W&C leathers you offer, in detail, up close, lasted, and refer to them by them name you use on your website. I'm trying to order and i keep finding myself at a loss as to what these options actually are. What's Mojave, what's Java? What are the different latigo colors? What are the different bridle colors? What is the temper like on all of them? It's really frustrating having so many options without any real information on what they are.

*It's cool seeing the process with many people doing different parts of the boots! For one of the jobs in this video, does that person only do skiving and gluing all day? Or would people be rotated around to do other parts of the boots? For example, that woman may do skiving/gluing one week and maybe the next week she does something else such as sewing or sanding.*
