Hey Frank! Equinox actually gave an extra uncut rare sheet in there - so total 7 uncut sheets! I'm selling one of my uncut sheets to my LGS that's supporting Altered and keeping the other 6. Still deciding what to do with the other uncut sheets and signed art prints. May sell them as a bundle later on, frame a few of the uncut sheets for my collection, or just sell each sheet separately if they do become more in demand after official release. I don't think the boxes will explode in value like Sorcery did with the Rudy pump but I don't think the boxes will lose value either. I'll be selling some of my KS boosters to recoup some money back but not in a hurry to sell them since Altered did say they are going to ramp up their marketing (English and French) closer to official release. They've said marketing now before products aren't even readily available now would not bring in much hype - I agree with their plan. Here's hoping 🤞

Sounds like a great plan. I am in no hurry to sell as I don’t see these being firesold any time soon even if there’s not a big increase in value soon either. I believe any price increase will be more organic and strong because I don’t really see this game being pumped as an investment.

I got one too.. I threw it out because I already got my pre-order money back via chargeback. Not really in the mood to get involved, send out information, etc just to be a part of w/e proceedings there are. My assumption is that most pre-orders will go unrefunded even post sale, not even sure it's worth it to follow the letter instructions.

I think Altered might just stick to Europe, specifically France. French companies on KS tend to stick to that region and considering 7k of their 9k backers are in France, I think it would be a good idea to focus on that. A good recent example would be Rise TCG. That's another French game but they had way more backers in the U.S. and they still don't market anything in the English language. They're backed by Asmodee but Asmodee just took on a ton of debt and with their other tcg Star Wars floundering, I would bet Altered is DOA. If they so something really special on release and explain their system really well, I think they have a future.

The French focus will make this play interesting, although I do know they are trying to do roadshows and such in the US and want to have a presence here. We’ll see!

I don’t think it has an hourly beep. But you can turn on/off the button sounds by holding on the right two buttons at the same time for a few seconds.

I think they definitely should have put sapphire crystal on this one. Seems like Hamilton is experimenting a bit, especially with the larger case sizes on a lot of other watches.

Just got the collectors edition of unicorn overlord PS 5, some Charizards, Final Fantasy pulled the Sephiroth signature finally got all the signatures now, quater century rares from Yu-Gi-Oh. Just a few things ive been collecting. You're right about the Lighting being the signature one on the new one coming out. Good to see you back!

I’ve been impressed with how Grand Archive has been keeping up. Candelabra is one of my favorite Reserved List cards artwork-wise, but I am spooked about the Reserved List after Magic 30th.

@@FranklyCollecting Magic 30 was such an insane blunder! The reserve list being down quite a bit makes it a decent time to acquire cards if one always wanted them, like a Candelabra in my case. The Weebs must have really reduced print runs on the last two sets because they're sold out everywhere and can't really be found for less than $110/box while the first two sets can still be bought at highly reduced prices. The game is a hidden gem imo, card quality is great, foils are rare and the creators seem to value quality over greed.

Absolutely devastated by the label change. I've been trying to adapt over the last few months, but I give up -- I miss the blue! Not to mention they've decided to just combine CGC 9.5s into 10s, so idk how to read their pop reports anymore. Perhaps worst of all, they stopped doing sub-grades? I don't care if only 5% of submitters used it; that was literally the only reason I'd send something to CGC over PSA. Maybe this sounds over-the-top, but I've always loved CGC & have been a long-time collector & believer in their practice; in one fell swoop I feel like they lost all respect I've had for so many years. I have hundreds of cards rocking the blue label, but I won't be going to CGC anymore with this new format. I've started reslabbing my favorite cards with BGS just to get the sub-grades on there.

My thoughts as well. I went to SGC as my replacement. It makes no sense to me that they want the same blue label across comics, games, and vhs tapes, but not cards. The overall design of the new label also comes across to me as a bit dull looking.

During the pandemic, the speculators ( I assume like yourself, but I don't watch your content, so Im just assuming here ) had a field day. I hope that they all made their money while they could before the end. Actually, I don't really hope that the speculators made any money because I can't stand them, and I think that they ruin anything they speculat on. If you are a speculator, sorry but not sorry. Find a way to make money that doesn't drive up the price of people's hobbies.
