I subscribed to Express VPN and initially it was great, but within a short time my phone slowed down - then virtually came to a standstill. On uninstalling everything went back to normal. Dunno what went wrong. 😕

Ever since I saw the video from Computerphile about: Elliptic Curve Back Door, I had my doubts about a lot of the encryption we've been using and about how secure they really are.

You could also use a second "Pay As You Go SIM" with a Private Number on old phone to receive all your 2FA SMS texts. You may even be able to take advantage of referral credits to pay virtually nothing for the service other than the for the SIM Card and first two months of service (A total of $35 in my case), or use low rate plans that cost $15/year. Another advantage of these Pre-Paid plans is that you can use a fake name and don't need a credit card.

@NaomiBrockwellTV @AllThingSecure Sorry for the upcoming waffle, but this really needs to be spoken on! In preparation to move Graphene OS best way to get talk-to-text? Best text-to-speech? Using accessibility TalkBack and Text-to-speech with the press the spacebar to talk-to-text via Google Some odd reason the settings are together even though they perform differently. Select the speaker is way better text in images. TalkBack is a better longer text also easier to move from one text to another; they both have their uses. Optimum way found so far on regular OS is to have accessibility as an icon on the screen so it's easy to switch them on and off a bit annoying but this is the best way we found. also fairly complicated to get them both set up. We need to restart the phone at certain increments. Same thing with using speech to text Example: press hold space bar to be able to speak to make texts. So actually, we are inquiring about all three. Even though function wise inquiring about optimal ways in using Text-to-speech & Speech-to-Text Currently Samsung preparing to move to graphing but we really need these two features we don't even hear people speaking about these features on regular OS Caveat press the whole Spacebar is Google; this is the only one that we found able to use offline. Please highlight dangers. If you have time, but really, this needs to be talked about! The accessibility community is extremely struggling!!!

Stumbled across this and realized that individuals with accessibility needs. Rely on these features! And are the most difficult features to set up even on regular OS. Help the Blind and people that can't read well and people that can't hear well dexterity problems etcetera. This portion is super desperately missing in public knowledge! Individuals without those hurdles for The Wider public these are also extremely useful features why take time to listen to a paragraph when you can have it read to you at 130 plus speed or be able to press one button and turn your voice into text undeniably useful! Undeniably difficult to set up. Android OS Samsung, for example, has text-to-speech and talk back. Speech-to-text is handled through the Google portion and has to work in concert with Samsung keyboard. Select to speak and talk back two separate things, but their settings are the same somehow overlapping and connected? Odd! If you change the speed of the voice for TalkBack, the Select-to-Speak voice also changes. But not at the same rate same thing if you change pitch or actual voice male female etcetera

I’ve been wanting to put a baby monitor in an elderly persons room to monitor them, they have sever dementia and we worry about them not being able to remember to pull the alert cord. But even the stand alone ones have poor encryption. Finding one that can be hard wired to the internal network behind a firewall still makes us nervous. I’m guessing that an analog coax style camera and microphone if I can still find one is the securest solution.

The send and deliver info can be encrypted if both accounts work with the same protocols. It probably requires each account to run its own instance of decryptors and receive larger chunks than what's meant for them and process with its own decryption keys then discard what is still cyphered.

i'm wondering , the speaker says (5.11) he "regularly uses both VPN's" referring to ExpressVPN and Nord , why would someone have more than one VPN installed? and the best two with the most servers? Very Odd.

What if you connect your pc (with non-essential data) to a public wifi but hotshot to your phone. Will you still be vulnerable to hack attacks on you data from your phones?

Good info. I have a Proton account, but I'm not into things that I truly need to hide. Online security is virtually impossible. Much like cellular security. Your cell phone is the biggest security threat citizens face today because wherever the device goes, it can be tracked via GPS coordinates as the phone pings onto antennas. Triangulation. LEO agencies can, and do, request this data from providers without a bench warrant.
