Really pretty I always make a single swatch first. And measure that swatch in case I want to increase it enough to go all the way around my body for a sweater.

Great. I had the pattern for years and couldn't succeed. Their explanations are wrong. It should say K3 tog, YO, K3 tog again on same stiches.

What if you don’t want to make any pearl stitches, but only knit?
@RatchadawanChambers
@RatchadawanChambers 3 ай бұрын
Then it will be just a yarn over ’YO’. You can do than by bringing the yarn into the front of work and then knit with the yarn over needle.

This is so helpful but would have been more useful on how you started the seed stitch on this triangular shape. How many stitches did you start with? Thank you❤
@RatchadawanChambers
@RatchadawanChambers 6 ай бұрын
I wasn’t trying to make it look triangular. I was focusing on how to increase at each edges. If you want to make a triangular shawl You could start with one stitch and then increase to 3. Then increase every other row on each edge until desired length. Thanks for the comment.

Does this curl at the end? And can it be reversed so it is knitted at the end of a project instead of the beginning?

@RatchadawanChambers
@RatchadawanChambers 9 ай бұрын
I knitted in round and when it get about 2 inches to the top I added any eyelet row to it. It can be like “k2tog, yo”or “k1, yo, k2tog” repeat the set till the end of row. Then work straight for 1-2 inches. Bind off. Seam bottom ends together. Thread ribbons through the eyelets and you are done.

Thank you for such a great explanation. I'm knitting from a 1940's vintage pattern and the pattern tells me to turn about 20 stitches from the end. I was very confused. I now know what to do. Thanks again. 😁
