I still dont understand the "comparisons" between american made optics and Vortex. They are an outsourced company that relies on customer support fixing all their quality problems by replacing their scopes as fast as they can sell them because they get them cheap enough that replacing 50% of everything they sell is no real burden when you sell out-sourced, asian junk. Americans......buy American....how hard is that. Save a little money and buy something that doesnt support countries that hate capitalism. I'll take the cheaper line american made scope over the "high -end" out-sourced, communist-funded junk anyday. We've lost our patriots in this country......thus.... we're losing our country. Heartbreaking. Get off the vortex bandwagon and buy from your fellow man. Just because Joe Rinella uses it on his TV show doesnt mean its good.

All this talk of vortex are crap. I have a 2.5-10 vortex viper and let me tell you it’s been though the ringer and in much tougher climates than any of you Americans have seen, you don’t even need a tough scope in the US your climates are a fawking joke. Mine has never lost zero and I’ve never needed a follow up shot. Vortex makes quality gear and at $700 it’s much more affordable.

@@tannerj5826 any American living in the lower 48 should seriously just keep their yaps shut, there’s nothing austere at all about their climates. Put it through arctic climates, summer, wet, cold and the viper has never failed me at all and I’ve never needed to adjust it once in 10 years. I’m not a vortex fan boy but I am honest and it’s been just as solid as any scope I’ve ever used.

People, unless you're forking out 2k or plus, on a rifle scope, you need to expect that you may have issues. It's still amazing to me that my 3-15x44 gen II has been true soldier! My razor 3-18x50 is also solid. My AMG gen2 is a work horse! I just purchased the sparc gen II for my S&W M&P sprt LR22, and this thing is simple and easy to use no problem planking! My 1-8X24 razor is also a champ! The only complaint I have, wishing i had more $$ so that they could all be Razors. With the reticle system they offer and accuracy, Vortex has turned me into a pretty dam good shooter. Trust me, 5 years ago, I did not practice as much as I do now. It's so much more fun with Vortex. 3 years of shooting almost every weekend and 0 issues. Vortex is a beast! And anyone who tells you otherwise has deeper issues that they are not revealing.
