This library is perfect except 1 main and very important feature for any vst drum library, its not velocity sensitive and the lightest tap sounds as loud as a hard hit... almost an instant fail.

Very cool. Thx! This is pretty identical to what I encounter as a regular player with a contemporary music presenter in NYC. We even do a bunch of film screenings with new music performed live to click. There were two things that surprised me with this example. I always presumed that the “real” guys (you session arrangers in film on the West Coast) might convey subito tempo changes using subdivided clicks. If I play on beat two in a new tempo, I have no clue where to put it otherwise. I didn’t hear that in this sample. Is that for real, I wonder? Second, multiple virtual players in this example play WAY ahead of the click. That makes me crazy when I’m doing this live and one player does that. And it can be me! I’m certainly not perfect, but I’m especially nervous if I don’t trust the time of the ensemble.

I own this, but I've always have a problem blending the last accented note into the rest of the composition. I wish it wasn't as strong as it is. Still love the library.

right off the bat, i signed up for trial, download software, download an istrument and nothing shows up in the rack. there's obviously something I'm doing wrong but why does user have to to go search for something so basic?

This library was giving me serious Billy Joel vibes so I did some googling. After Billy recorded Turnstiles with Elton John's band in LA in 1975-76 he wasn't happy with the result and upon moving back to NY re-tracked the entire record with his touring band at Columbia's 30th St studios. It appears to be the only album he ever made there. This piano is reported to have been in that studio until it closed in 1981 when the piano was moved to Clinton. Billy was already a big deal by 1976 but credited Barbara Streisand's cover of "New York State of Mind" with exposing him to a mainstream audience. I'm not sure how many grand pianos Columbia Studios had at the time, and Billy certainly could have afforded to bring in anything he wanted, but it seems like an impeccably maintained "house" piano of this pedigree would have been plenty good enough. Long story short, I suspect this is the piano on the Turnstiles album, i.e. "Say Goodbye to Hollywood", "Summer, Highland Falls", "New York State of Mind", "Angry Young Man", "I've Loved These Days", "Miami 2017".
