Have you contacted his pediatrician? That's always the first step and then consider trying a elimination diet if you are nursing. Sending well wishes your way!

Sorry to hear this. Have you consulted their pediatrician? That should always be the first step. Then (assuming you're nursing), consider eliminating all milk products (milk, cheese etc). from your diet for 7 days and see if symptoms improve. If they do, you have your answer! Milk protein intolerance is quite common under a year and an elimination diet will help. If you're giving formula you may need to try a hydrolozed formula option. Good luck!

Please consult your pediatrician as I'm not a doctor however some specialty formulas are available through insurance and there are some store options as well including Nutramigan or Alimentum.

Try plant based milk coconut and almonds milk, if you are trying soy milk then ask to your doctor because milk allergen can also react with soy milk

Double check the ingredients cause the coffee creamer I used to use claims to be dairy free, but had a milk byproduct in it that candy still have some lactose. No clue how they can get away with that 🤦♀️

My daughter just turnt 1 and her doctor switched her to regular milk. Since i been giving it to her she has been having bowl movements back to back and it comes out brown and her last bowel movement it came out white. 🥺🥺didn’t know if this was normal or not but I see it’s common.

I did it 15 yrs ago and still feel like it was the best decision I ever made. The day my Dr. removed the drainage tubes and said I could shower was a relief but the day I had my final check up and was in a smaller bra with no back and shoulder pain was the BEST!!! Good for you honey!!! Enjoy!

Thank you so much! Im so happy to hear you are still happy with your decision. It truly is life changing! My drains came out this past Monday and I agree - what a relief! The drains were the worst part of recovery for me!

@@TheModernJuggle Me too! I was lucky though that my husband was willing to do all the emptying of the drains and writing down the amount which is what my Dr. asked for. Sleeping on my back was the hardest part since I'm a side sleeper. When the swelling goes down and you actually see what they'll be like... huge relief! Congratulations! No more shoulder grooves (they'll disappear after awhile), no more back aches, bigger selection of pretty bras and cute tops and now you can wear a strapless dress if you want. You're gonna love it!! 👍🤗

Woohoo! I'm excited for you! The pain is far less than I expected and is totally mangeable! It just feels like a big bruise. I took Tylenol and pain medication for 2 days only. The worst part for me was the surgical drains that first week - they were just uncomfortable. And now my biggest complaint is itchiness around the scars as they heal. I can already tell you it's worth it!!

I had it done years ago and I'm SO glad I did. No more grooves in my shoulders. They took a while to go away but they're gone! Best advice I could give is to pick a surgeon who has a waiting list. If you can't get in right away it means they're good!

11g added sugar is quite a big amount (a rice crispy treat only has 7g added sugar) processed sugar is processed sugar, I'm not so sure that date sugar is much "healthier" than cane sugar. Just a heads up!

That's good info, thank you!! I'm usually pretty picky with sugar for their school items. So if I pack one thing that's higher sugar for lunch, I'll then give them something either sugar free, natural sugar or salty (like veggie sticks) to balance it out for morning / pm snack!

Just found out my son has cma… mucus in his stool. I didn’t produce enough so he’s always been mixed fed. I quit BF 2 months ago and now totally regret it because of this!… it’s so hard to find nutramigen! Literally out of stock everywhere. And alimentum worries me with all the recalls that are still ongoing still today. Makes it hard to trust, when formula is hard to trust already. Wish there were more options for hydrolyzed formulas!
