Love your channel. This one was very, very educational. Most ppl toss this band aside thinking it's a bunch of hair metal garbage, but it isn't. Get past the radio friendly videos and you have some good songs. Mike has a distinctive voice as well. And Vito on the ax is killer

Loved their early stuff and saw them live a few times. I lost track of them after seven keys part two, from watching this video, I can see why.

You forgot to mention that the video for "Body Talk" from Dancing Undercover was featured in the movie The Golden Child fight scene starring Eddie Murphy in 1986. I didn't realize RATT had released a new album until I saw that movie.

Great album covers. So many of the bands were good but overlooked. My brother had a band in the 90s that had great music but only one self-produced CD that never sold. It made me realize there were thousands of such bands and tens of thousands of musicians (millions?) who never "made it" despite being really good, and we'll never hear their music. Poor management is part of it I guess, but also just luck of the draw. Meanwhile, on the radio, all this new stuff is absolute garbage. The crap rises to the top and the good music is buried. Why? One of life's mysteries.

I felt in love with a storm... eeeeeeeeeer... I mean with TANK since the first time I got "Filth Hounds..." back in the 80's, which is a MASTERPIECE (all songs are PERFECT) You forgot to mention that "Crazy Horses" from "Power Of The Hunter" is an The Osmonds cover For me TANK is Algy Ward and anything else... any other thing is something else, but not TANK. Congratulations another incredible awesome video well documented, narrated, and produced.

"Children" is a masterpiece - there is no doubt about that. Shame that they had nothing else that came close - the rest of their material is pretty poor imho. But, if they work for you? Great. Not everyone likes pizza. Thank God for grunge.....

I meet Steve Whiteman after a concert in Atlanta at the Omni when they were turning with Great White. He is the coolest rockstar I’ve meet to this day. My girlfriend and I were sitting on a concrete ledge watching everyone scrambling to get autographs around the tour buses. Steve just walked up and sat down beside us and struck up a conversation. We talked for about 15 minute until everyone realized who he was……they started crowding around and he basically said get away and we finished our conversation . I’ll never forget that moment!!!!

could you possibly do something on a group called TIGERTAILZ? they were a grouyp from Wales who released 1 album in america on an independent label, but all other albums overseas, they were big overseas but never made it here and im curious why? they were a very glam metal looking band but had some seriously underrated music, even covering metallicas creeping death. they had the look, the muscianship, catchy songs, they seemed like a complete package that would of been big here in America.

I didn't mention this on my comment on the Stryper video. I went to a Pentecostal school on Newfoundland, Canada. We had to partner with someone to do a poster of careers for Career Education in 1987. The teacher was against rock music regardless if it was Christian Oriented or secular. Me and my buddy decided to do it on Rock bands. Me being a Stryper fan and also liked the album Cinderella had out at the time Night Songs, I collected whatever Stryper pics I could find and my buddy did the Cinderella part. We both got a decent mark which I was surprised. Another buddy from the same school who was a preacher's kid was a huge Cinderella fan and had their first 2 albums. I think he still has 3 of their albums on CD: Night Songs, Long Cold Winter and Still Climbing.

Great presentation! Stryper is one of the best Hard Rock/Metal bands of the 80s, including both Christian and mainstream bands. A couple of corrections; 1.Soldiers Under Command was released in August 1985. 2. The Yellow and Black Attack 8 song reissue that was released in August of 1986 due to the success of Soldiers Under Command, not To Hell With the Devil which was not released until October 1986.

For me, Krokus will always be Metal Rendezvous through Headhunter, with The Blitz as a just an okay. I disagree with the narrator about Hardware and think it is better than stated - he didn't even make a mention of Smelly Nelly.
