I enjoyed your vlog, it was a bit of a shock to discover that I am now of an age that photos taken when I started working are now old (1974)!!

W--E--F is really puppeteering things isn't it. Jellyfish leaders, peddling what puts $ in their pockets and continually destroying everything that generations work so hard for, fought for, and died for. Frustrating beyond belief and saddening. Perhaps that's all part of the plan. Breaking souls.

The gentrification of Camelon Grangemouth Bo’Ness Polmont etc means people don’t come into the town as much now We have tescos and aldis etc all close now coz the population has grown a good bit since being a kid in the 90 Also Larbert Stenhousemuir where I grew up has the hospital and shops so people ain’t in Falkirk for the royal also

Thank you so much. History is created by the Victors as I am sure you know. There is so much misplaced history around Edinburgh and Leith, however you brought this together very well. On the subject of crossing the road, I really think local Councils are trying to prevent that from happening.
@EdExploresScotland5 күн бұрын
Cheers. I suppose crossing the road at recognised pedestrian crossings is now the way to go.

Indeed. I feel robbed of the opportunity to collect water from and outdoor source whilst dodging open sewers. And sharing one toilet with 100 other families would have been special.

Hi Rob. I make music on my old PC, which takes about half-a-day to start up, so at the moment I'm not sure. The La La sounds in the final song came courtesy of a free demo whose name I can't recall. That said, in checking the web, the name Emvoice rings a bell, so it may have been that one. The demo didn't have a full range, so I was restricted to just certain notes.

Lived in Bourtreehill from 74 till 88. I was five when we moved there and it was magical. Everything was new, pristine and booming. The beach, the Magnum. Fantastic! Tonnes of work and disposable income led to prosperous times. Then came along Thatcher. Decimated the industries. My old man worked for Volvo and he was reduced to three day work weeks and was considered one of the lucky ones. It just went downhill from there. Poverty breeds addiction, crime and violence. It's sad to see the main street so full of empty shops.
