I don't think there is an example of a country going into hyperinflation when they are the world reserve currency so I'm guessing the US has to lose that status first before the hyperinflation is even possible.

The market will not crash. The U.S. government will not allow that. Even if it did crash, in a few months, it would begin to climb. This happened in 1987 and 2009. The Treasury has a department that would fund the stock market.

Great idea until they confiscate gold. When did that happen again 🤔Executive Order 6102 on May 1, 1933. When did they outlaw private ownership? The Gold Reserve Act of 1934. Wonder if they're going to do that again?
