Currently, my only pair of Heritage boots are from Allen Edmonds, including the Landon boots from one of your earlier videos (I agree Nubuck, not, suede). These AE's fit quite well at 12E. In your opinion, would 12EE Trumans be a good fit? My apologies for the long message, however, there are no returns allowed. MANY THANKS!

Sizing for GS has been difficult for my wider feet because the brand increases the length of the boot as you increase width. I think I have to go down a full size in their shoes because my EE/EEE width.

If I wear a 9.5d in grant stone/parkhurst/oak street, anyone know what I should get for these? I am a little confused on sizing as it now looks like the rec size is true to brannock for the 199last but 1/2 down for the 11/18 last. Historically i think they recommended true to size on the 11/18 last so a little nervous ordering these given they'll be my first chelseas. Inquired via their website but they haven't been responsive...thanks in advance!!

They look great but ya I can imagine that’s next level in pain for boots because to get correct fit they go be tight when u start I can belive how much my red wing black smith grew there like a size 14 know lol 😂

There's a video by "The Vintage Future" on YT which talks about the main Viberg lasts in great detail (45 minute video). It is from the year 2020 so some things may have changed but gives a lot of good information. Regarding letters for sizing and UK boots, I suspect it is not so much that "E", "F" or "G" is "average" width but that they are the companies "standard" width as far as their lasts are concerned. Their width sizing has evolved over time and they originally purposely started producing slimmer or wider than what they regard as normal width footwear to suit their end market which eventually became their default width.

My White's MP Sherman are a 11D though . Black bought with your recommended half size down. Excellent for this boot.

Had to go up half size on all my shoes. Trickers Carmina TLB Vass Viberg 2030 Black . Best thing I did at this time. 11.5 D

If you have to remove anything on a shoe etc they are not the right size.

I felt tight across the forefoot too. They probably should be an E width.

Recommend a half size larger.

May try 11.5 later.

The NO. 1 runs tight and narrow on the outer toes. I thought I was a size 11D and they were too tight. Sent them back.

Gosh I was really impressed by Chisos! I was able to try on a pair of the No.1 and No.5 and actually found the No.5 to be more comfortable with the narrow toe shape which was really a shock for me! Hope you enjoy!

They look good. Next thing you know, you’ll be humming along to Muscadine Bloodline! Careful with suits. Cowboy boots need a wider leg or the shaft will bulge through as you walk. I have a suit made specifically for my favorite pair.

I had Chisos boots when they first start selling them. now the price had increased dramatically. They are good boots. and at one point was good value.

Great review. The only thing missing is not going more in depth about the lasts. Not all of their boot lasts have such a tall heel. The MTO, made to order, boots allow you to order the boots with a lowered heel. Their HNW last has far less aggressive heel. Their ThurmanHNW last is very similar to an Iron Ranger.

my 2020 shinki horsebutt vibergs are my most comfortable boots.

I liked these boots when you first opened them and they look even better now. 😁 They seem to have flattened ever so slightly and they look good for it. I own a pair of Vibergs in their 2020 last but mine are very much rounder in the toe. They’re simply called ’Derby’. Not sure why mine are different. They’re great except for an incredibly annoying squeak coming from both mid-soles. Drives me nuts. I confess sadly they’ve now become a £700 ornament on my shoe rack. 🙄

I find this to be their most handsome boot. My hesitations to purchase are 1) the midsole looks too stiff. I would get custom and exclude this piece, to give more flexibility and 2) I don't like the low profile toebox and nervous about the width, being a wide footed person. Last little detail is no pull tab, which I understand was intentional.
