Audio books loose me so quickly and I so wanted to be able to handle audio books but whatever my eyes are looking at that is where my mind is. I can't NOT multi-task. If I'm designing on the computer what ever is in my head phones can't be something I have to pay attention to or I will not get any designing done. Holding a book in my hand, holds my focus. I'm so weird!! 🙄

I've been using Sterling Ink planners for 2024 and will be buying from their line up in 2025. Their planners are horizontal or vertical layouts. In the N2 horizontal planner, which is equivalent to a hobonichi weeks, the left side where the week is has grid lines for those of us that can't write straight. The paper is Tomoe River Sanzen paper, 52 gsm. There isn't a pre-order but there is a staggered release of the different planners they offer starting on September 1. I recommend watching their videos explaining the planners and release information. I always enjoy your voice overs!

I agree, audio books are not being read by the listener. Most of the time I zone out and stop listening 😊. It is overwhelming to try understanding someone talking to you😅. Yes, it looks better without the highlights.

Helen - I love the spread!! Also, I love audiobooks. I use the Libby app with my local library and can listen to everything on my TBR. I feel that audiobooks do count as a read. Even though you are listening to a narrator, you have to use keywords for imagery and content. I have listened to audiobooks for years. I usually listen while working or doing house chores or road trips.. definitely road trips. There are cons; for example, not all narrators are created equal. Sometimes, I elect to fit in the actual book version versus the audiobook cause I can’t listen to the narrator. When I find books that I consider 5 star, I purchase the actual book and add the book to my library. Those are my thoughts 😊!!!

I am so glad to hear you got a new doctor who is more understanding of what you need. As someone who also interacts with doctors a lot it's important to be able to trust them and for them to trust you. You did the right thing!

Hi, new sub! I’m going to enjoy Hobo Weeks decorating from afar now. I’ve tried the Weeks 3 times and it’s been a fail each time lol Although I discovered that I enjoy making notes in this format, so they’re not a complete loss. 💛

I loved your story about the compliments so much! The world needs more of that. I especially appreciated how kind and considerate you were about their pronouns and preferences. I have my pronouns on my name tag at work and I think more people should do that to encourage, comfort and consideration around the topic. I really like my Weeks so I want to keep using that in 2025. I feel like I don’t understand differences enough. Like what is a B6 😂 I really want to see them in person to compare but idk how that’s going to happen 😂 In the 80s I didn’t like Top Gun that much and haven’t seen maverick yet but good to know it’s better.
