Hey man the feed is 1080p or 720p the onboard recording is 4K . You got to use an SD card so it records to it. Hope you understand.

you get an adapter with the antennas you just need a 45 degrees one. But truerc is working on walksnail antennas that look similar to the ones for goggles 2 by dji with 3D printed parts on the back of them

did you register as an operator or did you only do the test? Because the pilot certification ID is different than the operators license ID. Also it would be better if you did it via droneclass, that is a dutch page I did it there also as I grew up in Belgium I speak the language.

@@ixography Droneclass cost money, and the luxembourg route is for free and valid in the EU etc .. You can take the lessons and exam in English/Frensh and German. I solved the exploitation number and added it into my RID of the Air2s. The only thing now is .. i cant see it when searching with another phone (drone scanner etc etc) but its something i will solve in a few days. Untill that time i will use a Potensic RID on the outside wich i can see on the app :) Thanks for your response.

@@ixography i have the v3 nano cam kit and the v2 singal antenna pro cam, im just in the middle of taking the mipi nano cam iff the v3 vtx and that went well, im putting the v3 vtx in my 5" ,so ive just used the spare ufl to sma connector that i got with my first expresslrs tx box, it fits so snug, and now , when the v2 hd 19×19 cam comes i will hopefully have a nice picture like the nano i just took off, mipi isnt long enough aswell! ANYWAY, the point being ,im now open to alot of lhcp sma antennas After all that, do you know whats the best antenna for a freestyle walksnail with a sma lhcp adapter on? Thankyou!❤️

@@rcaddict9558 hmm I see. Well I use the regulat one on my 5 inch but honestly I don't freestyle my walksnail drones as I have 1 dji drone for bando bashing 😀 I try to keep the others clean as much as possible

@@ixography ok, not a problem, i have the standard antenna but the top came off, still works, but i thought i might aswell make use of the 3d printed part on the diatone f5 so ive gone ufl pigtail, it fits so snug and i can pick from alot of lhcp sma antennas now. The point was i didnt want to buy another complete walksnail kit, just the camera, its dine now, will have a look at antennas. Thanks anyway for your time🫡

Because at that point flying 60fps and 1/120 was not possible on the O3 because the feed was too dark. So I had to go to 30fps which sucks for flying fpv. Moonlight however could still handle 1/60 120 with lower ISO so therefore less noise at the same place and same conditions

I did around 4km with stock and I know someone who did around 7km on integra and lost elrs signal and not on dji so idk what to think honestly 😀 yeah I had the plan to do long range but a sky karen came🤣

@@ixography I think RF interference is something to be considered when analyzing long range results. I was only able to reach my personal max distance in a distant rural location away from wifi networks.

Stock can do 8-10km before first image drop out. If flying a wing in automatic mode, it can do at least 20km with many dropouts, but still occasional image. Honestly, I'd expect 8km minimum from any modern hd system. Around a city, it's worse, maybe 3-4km.

I actually think walksnail is great but it is a young company so sometimes the goggles coming from them are faulty but so are they from DJI. It is hard to say what system to get. Funny enough today I was flying DJI and walksnail side by side over 1.5km to a castle on a hill and DJI was losing signal for some reason and walksnail had like 50mbps on the same mountain. But I actually don't know sometimes as there are scenarios where walksnail is better and in some scenarios dji is better . I honestly think you can go either way and be happy or unlucky. Fpv is a gamble sometimes Unfortunately

The walksnail doesn't suck at all. The Pro Kit is even better for night than the moonlight

I will do a new test this week . My findings now are that DJI has better colors for colorgrading as it is 10bit d-cinelike. But Walksnail has a better dynamic range so you have more detail in the shadows and highlights. So a combination of both systems would be amazing

It seems because of it's sensitivity in low light, it's response to bright light is challenged. ND filters are a must (an ND 8 comes with it), and I've seen indoor footage where it snaps back and forth on 'auto' white balance. Maybe a fix in updates in the future. I have one and am looking forward to getting it up there...

hey man I took the moonlight out of that drone because I had exactly this issue and now I use the pro kit in this drone. you can put some spacers under the unit or 3d print some mount or something similar that you put between the moonlight and the carbon bottom plate so you can put the whole plate lower but make sure you also have some rubber landing feet . Wat I used are the stack spacers with longer screws so it was kind of soft mounted like this. I used the DJI O3 antenna and I still do with the Walksnail pro kit and it works flawlessly.

You should always use ND filters. If you want less motion blur film 50 or 60fps and 1/100 or 1/120 . ND filters should be used in literally every single video You shoot and if you want professional results

hey man, this was 4k60 ND 8 which was provided in the box I locked my shutter and iso 100, noise reduction I think the 3D on medium and 2D on low. I have some other walksnail videos where the settings are in the description. Sharpness I mostly put lower and add it in post and saturation on 5. Hope it helped a bit

however I found out it is better to use auto shutter as the image gets choppy in the goggles when you use a high shutter speed because of the ND8
