Nice video. Bummer, looks like too much snow to make it to the top?

I was all set to buy a KTM Adventure and the Mrs says no, I prefer......well after this I’ve got to return to Plan A. I’ll never be this good but being an ex enduro rider there’s such adaptability with the KTM. Used to have BMW 1150GS and that’s just too much of a big lump
@DaRidingGuy4 жыл бұрын
Looks like a technical climb for sure. Would you recommend taking Novice riders on this trail?
@UtahRiders4 жыл бұрын
Danny Norr probably not a good idea. It wouldn’t even be fun for a novice rider, just hard work and frustration.

Thanks for the footage. I’ll be riding there on Saturday. Hey I have a 13’ 300 xcw and I hated the vibration on my hands until my friend joe harker had me fill my handlebars full of buck shot bebes. I’ve loved it ever since and it’s cheap. It’s a hell of lot cheaper than $350 flexx bars or $200 dampening bar mounts

Have you had any troubles with keeping graphics on that Acerbis tank?
@UtahRiders5 жыл бұрын
Tactical 513 Yes. The solution is to perforate the vinyl everywhere. Lots of holes to allow outgassing.
@tikkashane5135 жыл бұрын
Awesome thanks for the info. Did you just puncture it with a knife?
@UtahRiders5 жыл бұрын
Used a small hole punch. Some custom graphics companies offer perforated graphics too for the same reason.

Gnarly trail!! Dam your Husky took a hard hit on the exhaust pipe from that barrel roll!! Did you crack the exhaust header or is there blow by past the header seals due to the bent pipe? Sounded like sh*t after!! Hope it's just a bent pipe. I bent the neck section of my FMF gnarly pretty good this season. I used an old bent handle bar and my vise to straighten it back up. Glad I kept that old bar instead of pitching it! =) Have a good one! Jason
@UtahRiders6 жыл бұрын
lateralus1972 You got it right the first time. Pipe busted out the side of the header flange and moved sideways. We spent an hour bending the pipe to fit back over the hole. It worked fine after that. Now I need a new flange... dumb move to let it ghost like that but not intentional.
@lateralus19726 жыл бұрын
Bummer! When you ride hard enduro sh*t happens though! At least you didn't get hurt. Nothing that more money can't fix. =) KTM = keep throwing money. Have you seen these: www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/905/65693/Tusk-Exhaust-Flange-Support As hard as you hit, not sure it would have mattered but it could have kept the flange from cracking. I'm running a flange support on my 17 300 and haven't cracked a flange yet, knock on wood. I've had some wicked pipe hits too. What part of Utah are you guys in? I'm in Kaysville.

G'day awesome trip! well done. how well did the subframe hold up with all the weight?
@UtahRiders8 жыл бұрын
Hi and thanks. I didn't have any problems with the subframe and still don't now (a couple years later). I did install one of these www.globetrottin.com/Mini-Top-Rack-KTM-250-525-2008-thru-2016_p_19.html a few months ago and I can now carry a bit bigger/heavier bags. This rack adds significant strength to the subframe.
