I make similar things. Not quite as nice. I use the barttery operated flicker candles because I'm afraid people will look at them as a fire hazard, as nice as they are. You've got flames licking dry wood. Beautiful though.

Beautiful!! Do you find you can use green wood as well, or have you had issues with cracking? Wondering if I need to dry the branches I have

Well I think what you made was absolutely beautiful, it's just too bad that absolutely no "How to" was included and that's a shame.

Lucky to have access to all those resources. Buying them all to build a bandsaw would cost more than a top of the line model.

Just watched a video where a guy build one with a steel plate, a bunch of square tube, two 12" bicycle wheels and an old 1 hp motor. And some small bits and bearings.

Still wondering why you didn't sand with a hand made belt and orbital sander! Geezee...impressive

Nice design. Filling the natural splits with epoxy gives a much less contrived design than a river table.

Подскажите параметры пилы? Диаметр колес, длину ленты, мощность и обороты двигателя. Почему использована система натяжения с телескопической стойкой? Какие она дает преимущества? Спасибо.

Very nice. I was wondering how you made the band saw fence? Do you have any video or description of it? It seems to be a very practical and nicely made product. Thanks for your reply!
