I really admire Buster as a person and as an artist. However it's pretty obvious that with him you never know what is the truth and what isn't. I'm sure he had poor Eleanor running in circles all the time.

34:10 This is kind of sad line from Eleanor: Buster's "chronic bronchitis" was actually lung cancer. When it was formally diagnosed as such after the filming of this documentary, friends and family decided it would be for the best if Buster wasn't told, so Buster never knew that he had cancer until he passed away from it.

Amazing cast! Not just Buster, ZaSu and Joe E. Brown...but also Jack Elam, Evelyn Ankers, Jack Kruschen, Percy Helton and Charles Horvath (all doing great physical comedy with Buster.) And Bob Hope! And directed by George Marshall, who cowrote with Barbara Avedon (Hammer). ! Wonderful, and prophetic: Just four years later, Buster got his honorary Oscar.
