Excellent example of a true professional in all the areas she works in but above all a great human being with everyone around her.

I knew Fernanda and Guillermo in Chicago when they danced in Forever Tango. I moved to their country in 1999 where I became a citizen and can afford to live on social security. I enjoy life in Buenos Aires with all the amazing cultural events like no other city in the world.

Just remember Fernanda and Guillermo are excellent dancers as shown in the PBS documentary "Tango Magic". Guillermo before that starred in the the Broadway show called "Forever Tango". They already had exposure. I was lucky enough to have learned from their workshops in Carmel, CA before and after 9/11; they are fantastic teachers because they will take time to teach the fundamentals, to physically demonstrate with you- just quality time. They also had time for their child at that time, so what are they doing now? Are they still a couple?

Is George Soros NGO paying you for spreading this propaganda? Shame on you. Caste was an enforced concept on India done by the British to sow seeds of discord and break the existing harmonious social fabric. They succeeded and the sold out souls on Indian decent are the sad proof. But Karma is a bitch. It’s coming back to bite.

Great content.. thanks so much for making note that all labor skills are needed and contribute ...imagine if all people had the same career , Who's going to do the other jobs?? When I came to This country I had a lot of people telling me that immigrants come here and still Americans jobs or that only come here to ask the government for money.... that's not true...my daughter did a career and I have been working at the same company for more than 10 years...not asking for anything free.

This video got lost in the shuffle, but you all covered how we need more in education. I'm twenty-eight, white, and I went to school in Fairfield County, Connecticut. I learned more about Internment camps from watching an episode of Seventh Heaven than I did in school. We covered it once in high school, there were pictures, and I don't remember much of the conversation. We covered Gandhi pretty strongly and what the English did, how Pakistan formed, and in like fifth grade we learned that there were people called "untouchables" and it had to do with how the Hindu caste system is used. I know sometime before high school, maybe like fifth grade and up, we could cover that there were Chinese people who came to America through Angel Island and then they worked on the railroads. I remember seeing racist cartoons from the time in my textbook. In my sixth-grade reading class, we read a book called Red Scarf Girl by Ji-li Jiang about a girl living in communist China in the sixties and, while my class didn't get to this book, some time in middle school some of the reading classes read a book called Chinese Cinderella by Adeline Yen Mah, and we talked about it and I read it on my own. I have a copy of both books. That's pretty much all I remember learning, while I learned about so many white people. It's important too, but we could have learned more about other groups of people.

This pedagogy is purely destructive, in my mind. I heard a whole lot of break down, deconstructing. Almost nothing about building and creating. I beg you to think about your actions before you set out to tear everything down, I guarantee that what is left behind will be much worse than now, and maybe worse than medieval times if you don't have a structure, and hierarchies to replace what you have destroyed. There is some value here, but so much negativity.

That is a really good critique and question. Right now, in fact, I'm working with the same collaborators and more -- including professors and teachers and school leaders across the Midwest -- to work on exactly this: How have people used their critical consciousness to positively build excellent dual language programming. Thank you for your thoughts! If you have resources to share, please do contact us!
