小林さん、こんにちは。この録音ですが、4,5年前まで "Home Recording 1965"として、私のチャンネルに上げていたのですが、CD化して売りたいという理由で、関係者らしき方より削除を求められました。その後、CD化されたとは皆目聞きません。そこで、アルバムでない形、つまり、シングルでアップすることにしました。この音源の価値を分かっていただける方に聴いて頂けるのは、まじで嬉しいです。有り難うございます!(*^^) Take
サブッチさん、こんにちは。この選曲は、クラレンスによるものと思います。ドックは、果たして、Djangoの影響を受けたのでしょうか?少々、疑問です。よく分かりませんが・・・ この録音は、Tut Taylor との共演を彷彿させますが、その際、クラレンスは終始一貫してリズムギターだったと記憶します。この録音でも、あくまでバック・アップのクラレンスでしょうか?曲によっては、ドックではなく、クラレンスがリードを弾いている気がするのですが、如何思われますか?(*^^) Take

Merle was more of a finger picker so the two had contrasting styles. Funny thing is, tho Doc is known more for his flatpicking style, I always preferred listening to his fingerpicking ie., on Deep River Blues & WIndy & Warm for a couple of examples.
