This is a whole new team! New offense, back to the, dare I say it, Briles air raid style offense with all the right pieces as well as plenty of O-Line adds that should give Finn or Robertson enough protection. RB back field and WR corps both going to be explosive! Defense, this will be the Aranda Defense that CFB will be in awe of once again. Defense will take huge strides in becoming a top defense in the Big XII. All I can say is bowl eligibility seems to be a shoe in from my view point. If the close games or closed by Baylor, you may see another 2021 type team.

I'm worried about this deep dive opinion. Every evaluation of my Arizona Wildcats team is ok, but at some point in the video, they have no clue, especially on Jedd Fisch. Arizona was his 1st HC gig. He had terrible 2 years and only reason he had success on year 3 is QB injury and Noah was given chance. Before QB injury fans and local media wanted Noah to start. Brent Brennan has over 24 years of college coaching experience and 8 years as HC. Had 1 of the toughest D1 coaching jobs and was successful. Jedd smelly ASSHOLE WHO?!

Why do you think the Oregon game is an automatic loss 🤔
@JoeBrobackКүн бұрын
Because Boise State got destroyed by a playoff team last year and Oregon is a playoff team this year

When talking about Mason Taylor, his dad is Jason Taylor & his uncle is Zach that played with his dad on the Miami Dolphins team together. He doesn’t have any choice but to be good. It’s in his genes, & I’m not talking about Levi’s either.😂

Don’t forget about Zavion Thomas & CJ Daniels. They’ll be contributing factors as well at WR.😊

Maddox is good enough and proven enough to get them to 9-3 if the passing game and pass defense (2 parts that kept the team from being dominate last year) are improved. This team has enough balance and proper pieces in place to really make some noise if Nelson is ready to go fairly early in the season with a higher level of QB play that many think he is capable of.

From LSU fan to LSU fan, I like your positivity & enthusiasm. Winning the season opener against USC would definitely start the season off in the right direction. I’m pulling for 10-2 to make the playoffs, but 9-3 is more realistic. This will be Nuss’s first season as a starter. He’ll have some growing pains in games the same way that Burrow & JD did in their 1st season as the starter. That & not knowing what to expect from the defense. GEAUX TIGERS!😊

GT makes me think of their counterparts NFL team, the Falcons from about a decade ago. Elite offense with a wet paper towel of a defense. If the defense improves and the run defense isnt literally the second worst in CFB..... I see a 9 win season including a bowl win. The schedule is brutal. 8 wins total is probably more realistic

Great breakdown of the team. When I saw that we retained so much talent, I became very excited about this upcoming season primarily because of how the Hokies ended the 2023-24 season. I just knew this would be a year where the Hokies would be sneakily good due to being overlooked for the usual picks across CFB, however in the late spring pundits across CFB began to report on the ACC's "dark horse" team. I think this could be a special year for the Hokies should they stay healthy and play as I expect them too. Unlike many, I don't think Rutgers will be much of a problem because if you go back and look at last years game, Rutgers beat VaTech with some huge runs on the ground. The Hokie run defense was horrible early in the year however it got much better towards the end of the season. Rutgers only had 49 passing yards in that game, and most of Rutgers wins were in games in which they dominated on the ground. Tech will be better against the run this year, and I would argue that the VaTech team in the second half of last season would absolutely have beaten Rutgers last year. This year I think the trap games are Syracuse and Ga Tech. Both of those teams are sneakily good and VaTech historically doesn't play well at the Carrier dome (or whatever it's called). Lastly, Clemson at home, under the lights with a VaTech team that's clicking is not a gimme game for Clemson. My ceiling for VaTech this year is 10-1 and floor is 8-4.

Two games that will be tough are gt and rutgers. We get the win vs rutgers early in the season that will be a very good sign.

Great work. Just wanted to mention that Elijah Herring was recruited to play LB. So unless he drops the ball or gets injured he will likely start at LB.

The D is going to be really good. If the OL can gel, things could get really interesting. You’re assuming MJ is the starter. That has yet to be determined. The Terps do have the upperclassman backup from last year who has much more time in the system and does have 2 W’s as a starter under his belt, 1 vs a B1G team and 1 vs an SEC team. Billyball. I think we’ll see a bit of both.
