LOL...my wife did that last weekend with they're cookie dough as well and she has done the ice cream thing too! Yes, the pastry dough is a little expensive for what you get. Its worth doing a little math to see if it's worth making them with time and money vs finding something similar to buy

Going to try these in my air fryer using the Roast setting, rather than in my big oven. I've got some deep foil trays that will take two onions side by side and catch all the lovely juices, so I'll maybe try one with foil and one without.

🤣🤣🤣 You are the best, Jamie! Of course I want to know Tara’s opinion! I’ve never bought regular puff pastry, much less gf puff pastry..😱. It didn’t seem like it was too fiddly, so I may have to give it a try…😉 I love your idea of using the immersion blender for the egg wash--brilliant! Ok, it’s time to mosey on over to your friend’s channel and check it out…. Thanks for this video, as always. Somebody has to do the tasting of these delectable items you make. I have a lift bowl and adjusted the screw for maximum height. The dime moved but not on every pass. To add further height, I placed a split lock washer on each arm of the lift. This gave enough height to enable the dime to move on every pass.

Oils and proteins that remain after cleaning with dish soap and hot water can just be left there. They are filling in the micro-cracks, which helps reduce sticking. Same thing applies with stainless steel cookware.

Did you spray the ramekin first, or butter it? I may have missed you mentioning it. I definitely don’t have a 16 oz coffee mug, but will try it in maybe a deep soup mug. I love a good mug cake, key word being “good”. Many of them aren’t that great. Would you suggest adding 1 more tablespoon of granulated sugar? Can’t wait to try it! ❤-Brenda
@SavorySaver
@SavorySaver 8 күн бұрын
No, it wasn't sprayed with any kind of oil which I was kind of surprised by. I do think some extra sugar would be good if the cake is not being topped and I think that no microwaving it the extra 20 that I did when I went rouge would have helped as well. I liked the suggestion above about microwaving the peanut butter by itself a little to loosen it up too. It would have made for a much better swirl.

I have this flour and I do have Celiac and this doesn't bother me. I have only used it to make gravy and enchilada sauce, but I love it! Do you know if this can be made without the honey? My husband is diabetic and I need to make this sugar free somehow. I am not a baker for any means, so thought maybe you might have some ideas to make it sugar free. Thank you so much for this video.
@SavorySaver
@SavorySaver 10 күн бұрын
It's only a teaspoon of honey or sugar in the mix. I would think that amount from the original recipe is more to feed and jump start the yeast as opposed to the flavor of the bread. I found this info on the King Arthur Baking Site and it looks like you could just leave it out and see how it does. I would read the article over and see if it helps you. www.kingarthurbaking.com/blog/2017/05/16/reduce-sugar-in-yeast-bread I hope this helps and thank you for watching.
