No sense in turning it on and off constantly. It's better on the motor to just let it run. I'd just add a toggle switch.

How did you add the carrying handles? I feel if I drill a hole the frame isn’t thick enough to support it. When you add things do you use rivets

I love this setup. I bought a pelican kayak that's almost identical called a sentinel 100x. I was thinking of selling it before i saw this video. The Styrofoam blocks raising the seat up is going to be a major improvement. I may use wood instead. It looks like it also sits you up more so you can cast it easier. Im also going to put a couple of rails on mine for a rod holder and a fish finder system. Thanks for the video!

I like the setup! I just bought one myself. How did you get the foot pegs off to trim them down? Im 6’0 and only need two pegs out of the four. Also what did you use to cut the pegs in half. Thanks.

I need to do a custom seat mod like this and the foot rest thing too. They make my legs so stiff. I did just put a cheap anchor trolly on. I will continue to mod it to make a more comfortable experience

the seat is a Jauntis stadium seat and i got it on amazon for about $40. great cushion on the seat and the back rest, very comfortable and it folds down for when youre carrying your kayak by hand or transporting it on a vehicle.

Awesome mods! I recently picked up the Pelican Sentinel 100X like yours too. I did just about the same as yours, minus the seat. I added the Scotty tracks on both sides and one scotty fish rod holder to the right side track.

Thanks for your comments. Im not presently using this for fishing, just for pleasure trips on the lakes. Im considering getting some fishing gear, ...its been probably 30 years since i did any fishing. I see the flat spots on my kayak for mounting scotty tracks but presently dont have a need to mount up any additional gear. Im gonna go check your channel. Keep it safe and God bless.

Nice review. I bought a Drolet 1800 but putting in my 16x20 cabin with full loft but its in northern Wisconsin so it gets cold up there. Cabin is well insulated just hope I didnt buy too big of a stove.

nice comment. another doe comes by frequently with her fawn....mama eats from my hand but the fawn is real shy. my first experience was about 3 weeks ago,now they come by regularly, even up to our porch (apples and peanuts in the shell)

Hello herb was watching your video on the drolet. I ordered a drolet Black comb 2 up to 1800 square feet. I did not know what size of wood stove to get but I decided on the black comb too versus the dralay 1800 escape which heats up to 2100 ft. I got it today and I was disappointed on how small the firebox was the wood box but anyway do you think that that's the right stove for a 1300 square foot mobile home? I was kind of hoping that I would have gotten the drolet 1800 it has a bigger fire box but I was wondering if it was too big for my mobile home. What size is your wood stove and it looks like it's smaller than the drolet black comb -25 in wide and it looks like your house is around 1100 ft? And does it heat your house good and what is the burning time on the logs and how big is the firebox thank you herb

Hi there. Your black comb 2 will be more than enough for a mobile home. Dont let the size fool you. The single most important thing os the wood you use.. Make sure its well seasoned and dry ( less than 20% moisture) If not you wont be getting near the heat you should get amd youll be fighting with the fire to keep it going.
