Just stayed there at the beginning of March. Views are spectacular, room was clean and set up well. We would stay there again.

I will forever miss Lahaina and its Front Street. Especially Kimo’s, Cool Cat Cafe, Down The Hatch, the Paradise Lahaina gift store on 718 Front Street, Wo Hing Chinese Temple, Maui On Metal, Aulani Jewelry, and the old Banyan tree. 😢

All those people working at shops and restaurants worked very hard to get to where they were at their job and i bet a lot of older adults worked the hardest in their life time raising their children and grandchildren. Also people on the island worked hard to buy those houses and their cars and clothes and toys and school supplies for their children and boats and also those children in that town worked hard to get to where they were at school. Its unfortunate that a lot of people lost their homes and boat and that some people even lost their own life. I bet a lot people now have to wait a really long time before they reunited with their old possessions before the fire in Heaven.

Your video was fantastic... And of course devastating... But how wonderful that you have this in history. We sailed there...around 1968..69... To the "fake" antique town built in LaHaina ... To be in the film, "The Hawaiians"... With Charlton Heston &' Geraldine Chaplin... The sequel to "Hawaii". Our boat ( Schooner "Isabel"), was hired to transport the 'lepers' to the island of Molokai. It was an incredible unforgettable adventure. ... With Tom Greis, the Director. You captured the beautiful architecture & 'the welcoming beach atmosphere in your video... What a great treasure!!!!! And a tragedy to confront...beyond belief that such a horrific event Consumed every single building & the loss of so many wonderful people. Judi Donin

Plenty parking on Canyon Lake Dr adjacent to Lake Hollywood Park which has great views of Hollywood Sign. Trailhead at 6301 Innsdale Dr to back of Hollywood Sign and back about 4.5 miles. Innsdale Trail to Mulholland Hwy takes you 1:02 green gate just under 1 mile. Mt Lee Dr (stay to the left) all the way to summit and view of back of Hollywood Sign.
