I also grew up catholic and I had the exact same experience. There were some fun stories, some of the songs we'd sing in church were nice, but I never believed for even a fraction of a second that this stuff was true and god was a real thing. And I assumed everybody else didn't either, it was just this social thing that we all had to pretend to believe in my mind.

I'm currently burning through your book 'Binge'. LOVE it. Thank you for writing it. Curious, I looked you up online. And, clearly, found you. I can TOTALLY relate to your respect of the term 'artist' and the humility you feel in applying the word to yourself. Tho many friends and loved ones 'called me such' for years, it was not until a work of mine was accepted into a juried art show (and got an honorable mention!)- that I allowed myself to call myself such. Note: I'd participated in many group art shows prior to 'the ONE'. The difference was that 'that time', I did not know the jurors, nor they me, and I was thus made award that the work itself, was, alas, enough. ANYWAY, I ramble...but glad to have discovered your words in writing and to have found you here. And, for the record, please remember that writing, itself, is an art. ;) Wishing you continued discovery in your expression.

Tyler is nothing more than a hedonistic, angry egotistical homosexual who recoils when someone who used to be like him found their true self and identify and is truly happy now. Hahah it’s hilarious and amazing because I’ve had the same journey as Anthony and it feels so much better to be away from cretins like Tyler Oakley and the like.

There’s no such thing as “conversation therapy”. It’s called reparative therapy and the word “reparative” in context refers to the reparative drive the psyche uses to combat trauma. The goal of reparative therapy is to help gay people who WANT help getting less sexually impulsive as well as constantly trying to find men who will fill the void left from childhood traumas having to do with a broken sense of identity and masculinity. Reparative therapy is a GOOD thing and can help gay people heal their traumas.

The other day I picked up a guitar for the first time in my life, and it sounded AWFUL!!! But it was still so fun to begin something new and start learning. Once I let go of the need to be "good" immediately, it suddenly became something relaxing and nice. I want to play and create and learn, and if I wasn't okay with being "bad" I would be miserable. When you're getting started or learning yourself, every step forward is a leap!

You entering your cosplay era was not on my 2024 bingo card but honestly, I'm delighted! I adore your creativity and have been watching you here on KZfaq for more years than I can count, and I hope you keep doing what brings you joy and makes you smile. Keep on being you, Tyler!
