Beautiful vlog. I definitely share the same sentiments when it comes to navigating friendships in your 20's. I'm openly looking to make new friends but I find it so difficult to openly shoot a friendship shot as someone who has social anxiety. Girl the struggle is real 😩

Making friends in your 20's is sooo difficult 😂 other people want to be friends with you for social media purposes and if you're a person that value genuine connections you'll find it hard to connect with majority of people our age because almost everyone is after tiktok/IG trends. But thanks God to the friends he gave me in high school and varsity because we're still locked in regardless of the distance.

Me and my friends treat each other like we're siblings and lovers 😂😂😂😂 like siblings, we there for each other and the distance changes nothing. Like lovers, we love each other with our love languages... I have friends who don't mind when we take days without talking but I have those who value communication even more so we talk everyday or send each other reels then that's how a conversation will come up. With others we make online dates where we'll be on a video call then talk as if we're together in the same room.

Due to the things I've mentioned we never really feel the distance between us because it's like we're in each other's lives physically even when we're not. So I never really feel the need to start new friendships and I enjoy solo dates if I want to go out.
