It is a 3D layer you make sure it isn’t positioned below another layer. Otherwise it disappears.

Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. Teacher, I have a question apart from this tutorial (After Effects). If two circles (fill) with different colours meet together by positioning keyframes and making the third colour it works correctly. If I try with two strokes rather than fill they don't work as with fill. Could you please help me with this?
@TeamA-f2i7 күн бұрын
this is really how you do it in after effects ?? 0_0 in resolve is just 1 effect applied and its fully customazible
@ManueldoesMotion6 күн бұрын
It is one way to do it. There are effects and plugins as well.

Not a hate comment but this was very complicated and it didn't work for me . perhaps I did something wrong but I have no idea what was going on and since I did not understand i cannot even spot what went wrong for me, tried watching it 2-3 times and it got more Messier.. You really need to slow down or maybe explain in a different way.

For anybody wondering how to adjust if the text is on top of/ centered/ below the path, adjust the "baseline shift" in text panel. Took me 2 hours to figure this out and nobody anywhere else seems to mention this.

This tutorial is incredible! thank you so much. I have a question: When I hold option on mac to replace a layer it doesn't change the name of the layer being replaced in the timeline like in your video. any idea why that is?
@ManueldoesMotion10 күн бұрын
Is your column named "Layer Name" or "Source Name"? If you click on it it switches. Maybe that's the reason?

Hey, trying to get this simple expression to work on a layer to offset each duplicated layer by a specific y position value - can't get it to work - layer just shoots off screen every time! any clues? Many thanks!
@ManueldoesMotion17 күн бұрын
Maybe the value is too high? If it is multiplied with the index number that could happen easily.

Great tutorial, I wanted to ask if there was a way to make a preset of all this stuff so I don't have to do it every time but just once and then only adjust it. Is it possible? Thanks in advance for the reply. Edit I would also like to know the sound effect used in the intro.
@ManueldoesMotion17 күн бұрын
I don't think it is possible to save it as an animation preset. I have a folder with lots of After Effects projects I use all the time.

Thank you so much for such a great content and A LOT of free material, i got a question: is there a way to create some kind of preset or plugin to create "tables" like google sheet tables or excel tables to explain database concepts.? i dont want to create a rectangle and duplicate it over and over again every time i try to create a SQL video.
@ManueldoesMotion22 күн бұрын
You’re so welcome! It depends on what you need. You could build a rig with expressions. To help you position the rectangles. If you don’t need the tables as separate objects, you could create a grid with lines and repeaters.
@Datagnolo22 күн бұрын
@@ManueldoesMotion i just did a plugin and make it UI inside after effects works really good

I would love to learn how to setup animation systems. So you can reuse things like character rigs, icons etc and easy recolor them, adjust them etc.
@ManueldoesMotion22 күн бұрын
Expressions make a lot of that possible. Check out this playlist: Animating with expressions in After Effects kzfaq.info/sun/PLXBrSY-3cIv0h_c1YiDNudDhpiKG--WwO
