It is no wonder that machine is having issues. It is not being properly maintained/cleaned. It's like having a filter on a vacuum that needs to be washed once a month and it not being done. Unmaintained products don't work as they should or last long. Although it's the owners fault, the company is blamed. If someone isn't going to clean their floors, they aren't going to keep this machine up.

Thank you so much for this! Because of this video I was able to figure out that my battery isn't working and avoided paying for a whole new laptop. I'm really in a tight spot financially right now and I'm trying to avoid just buying new things every time something breaks. Also in case anyone is curious or has a similar issue: I checked because the amber light was blinking and i couldn't turn my laptop on no matter how long I left it charging. So took the battery out and plugged my laptop in without the battery. Since it turned on after removing the battery I now know I just need to replace the battery.

Good video, very helpful, was afraid to take the glass off before bc i know how hard apple makes it to repair/upgrade. It was funny tho when you said the ssd was mounted "very nice and strong" after using a single large piece of tape, LOL. I mean as long as it works tho. I think i might try something a little different, but i think tape works fine too.

Hey there Binh, I got my replacement keyboard from iFixit, and being almost 70 years old, I thought I may have lost my touch when it comes to the repair of my Macbook. The only issue I had was handling the many T3 screws, as my eyesight is not what it used to be. But I made up a sticky-board and placed everything in a similar layout to my Macbook.....there were no spare parts at the end :/-) Everything went really smoothly, despite the "wrecking moment" for the keyboard and rivets feels just wrong. Btw, I used a large paper envelope closed between the screen and the bottom section for protection of the screen. I also used your first tool for removing the keyboard rivets (the end cutters) that worked a treat. Very good guide, thank you, that helped me to cross check connections on reassembly. what is the format of the bootable usb drive? i made an windows to go bootable usb using rufus with ntfs format drive but I couldn't get it to boot. I made that usb drive to test if the whole system/pc is working correctly before installing an real operating system on the pc/laptop.
