En septembre j'ai participé à un marathon skateboard aux Pays-Bas. 42.6 km à une moyenne de 22 km/h = 1569 calories selon ma montre Garmin. Cela dépend beaucoup de la vitesse moyenne aussi. 43 km à 12 km/h de moyenne seront moins gourmands en calories.

non de dieu ! c'est fou ! en trott' on ne verra jamais ça ! 25km/h en vitesse de pointe sur 100m du sprint quoi ! le 1000 c'est un max raisonnable ! 1600 calories tu dis ? ouais...ça me semble pas faux vu que ça ride...j'ai fais de la course à pied dans ma jeunesse, du 800m...c'est cher le foncier... chapeau bas ! MASTER ! p.s:j'alterne aussi je switch pied gauche pied droit pour la pompe et la cuisse aussi ! :) peut être qu'un peu de dancing pour toi ce serait bien ? :) en ville j'alterne ride marche tram...ça élargi les horizons...mais t'as vite ta dose quoi !

@@usualsuspectrider1367 en trottinette de sport (footbike) les champions roulent à 30 km/h sur un marathon. En skateboard les champions ne sont pas loin des 30 km/h de moyenne 😉 La course à pied c'est plus dur physiquement. Merci pour le compliment, mais il y a des gars bien plus rapides que moi. Dommage que le skateboard en endurance ne décolle pas : très rares compétitions, discipline confidentielle. Mais je répète toujours la même chose (référence à ceux qui me connaissent 😂)

Really enjoyed your vid bro. We will go 202305 to Paris for 2 days with my wife for a Shen Yun event in Le Palais des Congrès. Thinking about bringing our Pranayamas with us, to explore the city. But the problem is, that our scating experience is not that good and maybe the trip will ends in a hospital 😄

I apologize, but I realy have to say this. I got hooked on LDP (pushing) thanks to your videos (Pantheon Pranayama is my weapon of choice) I must say, though, that the part of 06:00 to 06:10 when some municipal police is trying to POUR THEIR WISDOM on you because, I gather, you are moving faster than an average pedestrian. How sad, if not pathetic. I know, they are doing what they are suppossed to do but come on, you ride/ fly your longboard super carefully, do not do anybody any harm and what, the guards still have some "pearls of wisdom" for you? I mean, really: WTF?? What is their advice, get on the car or public transport? Being no gentleman at all, I'd probably shout GO FUCK YOURSELF and gain some speed in reply and I'd just ride on. Excellent footage, job very well done. You are, I mean, really, an inspiration. All the best. Excellent youtobe channel, thanks for your efforts.

No reason to apologize. Thanks for the nice words. About the local police in Alicante: indeed, that's their job. Moreover, the beach walk is often very crowded and Alicante makes lots of money from tourism, so no big deal.

@@sk8_rufus 😌 Alicante's tourism is made of people who just want to enjoy the beach, the food, the beauty and history of the region, and the night life. Lots of pensioners, lots of young children. Unfortunately LDP is a niche and unknown sport. I guess we are less than 1000 people taking part in competitions worldwide ! And that's a pity because LDP could be a sport as great as cycling if... So, no one knows us, almost no one. And we (almost) have no weight in the global economy. Therefore Alicante won't do anything for LDP, unless we become big. The cycling commuters of Alicante have been asking for a littoral cycling path for 10 years or more : they are still waiting.

I keep coming back, with another question, no offense intended of course: How does it work in France, as I have seen you violating almost each and every traffic rule: driving in read light, crossing dividing line between lanes, easily speeding over 40 km/h limit to name just a few. Amazingly, you are still alive (no cars hit you in red light) but f.ex.in Germany you'd have been arrested many times over for such joyful and otherwise beautiful riding. Is it because French policemen, when off-duty, are themselves long-distance pushing riders, and they turn a blind eye?

🤣 I like your comment. In Paris (I can't speak for the rest of France) the police is not very strict with inline skaters nor with us when we ride : I guess that they think that if we hurt ourselves, the responsibilities will be determined by the insurance companies and by them, the cops. In Paris there are quite often wild inline skate rides and they do as I do. About Germany, I have ridden my longboard in Berlin, not as fast as in Paris, but the same way, and I have not had any issues with the police. This said, in Paris people are not as disciplined as in Germany: they are way more reckless and they also use to cross red lights on bicycles (as I do). The point is that I always look if there's a danger when passing a red light.

Thank you. Check LDP champions like Paul Kent, Jeffrey Vyain, Kiefer Dixon, Andrew Andras, Joe Mazzone, Thomas Slager and many others : they are faster than myself, true LDP riders and racers.

The speed is amazing. The street conditions are not very good and still you go super fast. I would fall all the time.

Thank you ! I may sound pretentious but I think that true LDP riders must be able to ride their longboards in all conditions, as well as a good urban cyclist. Moreover, being able to switch feet is part of it.

@@parislongskater Scotland, I used to do downhill (which was difficult enough here) but since moving to the city my skating has been put on hold. There are very few suitable places in the country for LDP and DH, our roads and pavements are not well made or well kept

Dommage que ces sessions soient très rares et que je sois pratiquement le seul à les proposer. D'ailleurs très peu sont capables de rouler ainsi en ville... Tandis que chez les rollers c'est l'inverse : rouler ainsi est la norme chez eux...

It's a full custom carbon deck made by a guy who used to make high-end carbon recumbent bikes (Zockra). I went to ask him what I wanted. Unique longboard.

The deck is a Rocket Exodus. Wheels: Seismic Speedvents 85mm 80a, front truck Rojas truck (Bradenboards), rear truck: Torsion Tail Steel made by GBomb, front bracket made of carbon or some kind of plastic by GBomb.
