Thank you! The metro was quite interesting as it seems to run on mainline standard signalling but obviously the crossings, signage etc are more suited to a tram or light rail system, so its like a hybrid thing.

Yes. It is also the only active crossing in the county. The other two are on a Army base railway line which isn't used frequently.

I'd say quite rare yes. There's only around 15-20 crossings in the country that have bells now. Most are in the south of England.
