I've seen it in the menus. I think it's only available in the hood view. I prefer Driver view, but for some reason the developers decided that meant you had to have the camera as close to the dash as the wheel is, instead of just using the cockpit view and taking away the wheel. Even then, on some cars it looks like they positioned the rearview mirror over the passenger seat. It's really dumb. When I drive my road car irl, without turning my head I can see the far edge of my windshield, all of my rearview mirror and the entirety of my driver side mirror. It should be like this on all cars, with or without the steering wheel animation.

@jamesmoore7858 is right. It is hood camera. There is a way to widen and narrow your field of view for each camera view. Go to Settings, Gameplay & Hud, Camera, Custom Camera FOV, switch it to on and then you can change your favorite camera FOV to wider or narrow. Hope this helps.

Usually you need to have car that matches the race requirements. Sometimes it's a region or maybe a type. Like only US cars or only 4WD. What race in regional juniors are you trying to unlock?

Not sure if joking, but guy in front went too hot into the corner hence why he took such a wide line. So if opportunity presents itself you take it. Not sure why he tried to close the door on R2 when he's clearly along side him.

@@roblucas6097 there is something called “backing off” when it’s not your corner, and it was definitely not his corner. Look at the wheels, he shouldn’t have squeezed himself there then fail to leave a space in front. He bumped into everyone.

@@ferst262 Backing off? He left the door wide open. It wasn't his corner either when you run it that wide. R2 would have had better exit speed coming out of that corner if the guy didn't come back over to shut the door on him. His opponent knew that and hence the collision

@@roblucas6097 if it was wide open then he wouldn’t have to bump into the car in front… it was half opened, he should have been smart and set up for next corner, cause the car in front clearly did not. Instead he did what all bad drivers do, try to force it and ended up bumping into everyone. He caused the collision by being too close and having no reflexes, apart from going for a gap that did not exist while being behind (his left front tyre was over half a car behind the car in front’s front right tyre). You need to watch more racing

@@ferst262 Sigh. Dude...This Goro guy goes into each of the corners way too fast. Just look at the 2 corners after the collision. R2 did exactly what he was supposed to went into the corner slow to come out fast. By your own reasoning R2 should have stayed behind this guy thats taking a bad line and being slower so he can what? Be fast on the next corner? That makes no sense.

It all depends on the car. For example, the Couch I have locked and most others I have one up from Open. My go to Tune is 3, 4, 2, 1. Try that first and then open or lock it to your preference. If you like drifting then lower the Gears and lock it up. If you are on a paved track lower more, if your doing jumps jack it up. I like brakes at 1 because I use it like a e break bu most like 2. That's weird. whenever I create a custom event I can choose any number of cars up to 24.

To answer your question "it ok on a G923? " I've had people with other wheels than mine use these settings and liked them. The ones that didn't said that it was a good start and with a few miner changes it got them to the right settings faster. Have fun and thanks for liking the Video.

Sorry that is happening to you. I've never had that happen to me so I don't know how to fix it. The only advice I can give is to do a full shutdown of the console or pc, unplug the wheel from the wall and the system, make sure no other controllers are on, plug the wheel into the wall, turn on the system, when system is fully on, plug the wheel into the system. The wheel should go through its startup test routine ( turn full one way then the other). Run Wreckfest and see if it works. I think that will make it work. You can test the wheel in the settings menu in Wreckfest. Hope that helps.
