I'm a Chinese software engineer living in Canada and have practiced barebow for over a year. I love this sport and I'm serious about it. I dedicated much more time and effort than an average hobbiest in archery and I have recently been winning medals. I know kyudo is different in many ways, but it doesn't change the fact that I was moved by your video and I have so much respect for a person who is devoted to this exercise for his whole life. It makes me feel sad that one day I may not be able to pull a bow but I will never succumb easily. If I can't stand on my feet I will shoot in a wheelchair. If I'm too weak to pull a bow I will pull a lighter bow. If I can't see the target I will shoot with my feeling -- In fact that is why I love barebow. Your story give me a lot of courage and motivation to keep moving forward. Thank you Sensei Yoshimoto and thank you the uploader.
Yoshimoto Sensei was always an inspiration for me in my 17 years of kyudoka, I always admired him, but this video is the most wonderful Kyudo video I have ever seen, Yoshimoto Sensei has shown me the true spirit of Kyudo in this video, his teaching it is complete
