I used the sublimator and deodorizers. And just moved the polluted water into the same area. Didn’t use a ton of energy. I also started using the wood burner for power every now and then.

This game is awesome but I think the developers went a little overboard with overcomplicating this game. I think it's awesome when people find out contraptions and ways to make things work but 95% of it's gamer base would have no clue without guides on how to do things as the game progresses. The issue is the game doesn't explain anything. I've messed around with automation and I have no clue what almost all of them do. I've made some work but to really make something work it's almost impossible. Rant over.

Couldn't you have placed the spom and your base closer to the hot geyser to reduce transportation costs while also taking advantage of the heat for your base?

As much as I hate the food safety implications, I’ve been using mercury for drowning chambers in the DLC since it has very little practical use. If you plan on ranching flox, it is more efficient to crack the eggs and make soufflé pancakes. They only drop 1600kcal (half the meat as hatches), but the eggs are the same.

Hey man it sounds like you're dealing with a firewall timeout issue. If it's 60 minutes on the dot and it seems like it is, that's something dropping the connection at a limit. Either the firewall (router) or software on your PC. You mentioned someone moving things and you may be dealing with a multiple NAT situation. Lmk if you want some help

Great content, although as of right now, it feels way too... early-mid game type scenario. Well, we only have 1 dlc to compare, which adds other planetoids, rockets (with space travel I mean), radiation... 2 extra research (data banks and applied research) and more super late game stuff as well. The only good thing about this one is, MOST players get stuck at low levels (and not so tryhard like us), so I feel this DLC will be played more, and maybe it'll be cheaper than spaced out.

Very helpful! One notable problem so far has been the sweeper not picking up eggs, so my breeder ranch gets filled up with voles. Had to expand it for a pickup spot to wrangle them. Edit: which obviously wasn't a problem when pick-up and drop-off were all one item.

My real-game admittedly overkill application for a signal distributor was to be able to store and deploy large amounts of radbolts from multiple radbolt chambers. Because a signal radbolt chamber can only store 1k radbolts, if I want to be able to refuel a radbolt engine quickly, i need to have 4 radbolt chambers ready to go, but also want to use the same chambers for other radbolt needs. But if i just put all of them on a single automation wire, they'll overwhelm anything other than a radbolt engine, and annoying radbolt chambers only tell you when they're *full* (not empty) I can't tell if any are partially full and capable of firing. So, instead, by hooking them up to a signal distributor, i can gradually enable each of them in turn, and ensure that I can gradually get radbolts from at most one chamber at a time, regardless of how full they are.

Hi there, i love your designs and the way you make these videos. I recently made this design of yours (with solid shipping) only difference is that I had to put my steam turbines to the left of my volcanoes since that was the only space left after the volcano pit. It worked well for a while but after some time, the hot igneous rock decided to get stuck on the top mesh tile (it's also not clickable I just see it there). Normally it worked exactly like you showed in the video. Do you know any way to fix this ?

I want a single slightly larger map with everything from Spaced Out and Frosty DLC on it. I don't care too much for the rocketry and colonising many smaller asteroids anymore, it used to be fun but I have done it too many times and now i find it repetitive, especially rocket interiors.

This definitely feels like a dev played through the 100k challenge and had a blast with it. Also I noticed some... odd world generation goin there. Volcanic planet with lush/frozen core...? I'd like to see them but those seeds crashed. Maybe because of that...?

Fungus, you must try the duplicants stat selector mod, it's an updated and easyer to use DGSM, it's more recent too, so less prone to crash

I dont understand how the liquid tepidizer at the bottom of the brick are useful. From what I know they will stop working at 85C but to boil the polluted water you will need higher temperatures

I think you could try uploading other games on this channel as you already do play them on twitch. Once the tutorial bites are over you will be left only with playthroughs for the most part (unless you already have some interesting ideas to try out already). Diversification would be good. Sub streams for Rimworld or tutorial bites for Satisfactory for example. Just wanted to give some feedback :)
