Kindred is really just my personality it feels. I am often described as poetic yet venomous when time calls for it. I love writing my stories and live mostly in antiquity as in antiques are my families bread and butter. Someone came to me with a Bourbon Barrel during a yard sale when I was 10 and asked what made the old wood and rust barrel so pricy I just told them “Because it is beautiful.” Then they asked how and I said “Because it fades away” the person now properly creeped out was about to leave and we halved the price to $50 and Mom got on me for reading too much Edgar Allen Poe (Folks were going through divorce, I just became introspective) I still write today and some of it scares people who don’t know me well. 🥃 To being a freak. 22 now btw

Worst thing is the lore implies his current host is a boy and joraal didn't even trick him or force him like the rest of the darkin do to their hosts to touch their weapons, it was the boy who kept hearing the shieds woes and crys and must have eventually tried to touch the shied as if to soothe it only for joraal to take hold through no choice of his own and to the only person who tried to show him empathy through centuries of being treated like a trophy.

Nah, not really. J4 in the current canon isn't exactly SUPPOSED to be likeable. I don't think there's anything necessarily wrong with his character, aside from maybe some small nitpicks, but the man doesn't need a Skarner-level rework.

@@Art51151 *Sigh* I hate hearing this so, so much. Xerath's story is fantastically written, but so many people seem to read way too deeply into it and assume that it's somehow pro-slavery. Yes, Xerath is a former slave, and he's a villain. Villains can have sympathetic backstories and motivations, but that doesn't make them right. Xerath wasn't WRONG in wanting to be free or for trying to escape slavery, and Azir isn't in the right just because he declared Xerath free at like the last second. There are a lot of ways you can read and interpret their story, but at the end of the day, Xerath and Azir are BOTH antagonistic characters. They both think they're owed more than they are and their world views are completely warped by the power of Ascension. I could probably make a whole video essay on this topic alone, but suffice it to say, I've never agreed with that particular take.

The vastaya are a cross between humans and vastayashi'rei, it honestly makes sense they'd look a bit like humans with animal features.

@@LoRVoiceLines Oh wow, yeah, I totally missed that. And honestly, I don't mind the Vastaya having different ratios of human-animal characteristics. I don't need all of them to be full-on furries like Rengar, but it feels kind of meaningless to have an animal-human hybrid if you're barely going to incorporate any animal characteristics in the design. I suppose I can give Aurora a little bit of a pass since she's more bunny-like than I thought, but that's only revealed in one small panel.
