The gardens are lovely however the hard scape around the plants can be quite expensive.

This has some misinformation. Russian Sage IS a real sage, in 2017, it was moced to the salvia genus (the sage genus) and was given the name Salvia Yangii.

Pig squeak is not deer resistant here, deers love them! It’s ASTILBE not ALstilbe. Can this narrator actually read? Deers love to eat astilbe right to the ground!

I have poor soil so I plant in pots sunk in rhe ground. This also keeps the crazy plants in check.

Interestingly, of the 6 flowers on your "do not plant" list, only one is a native plant in the States: False Sunflower. Lily of the Valley is a native of EURASIA; Bachelor’s Buttons is a native of EUROPE and WESERN ASIA; Chameleon Plant is a native of SOUTHEAST ASIA; Yellow Alyssum is a native of CENTRAL EUROPE and TURKEY; Purple Loosestrife is a native of EUROPE and Asia. There is a big push on in this country, as well as other places, to plant only native plants… plants that originated only in our own country. Non-native plants end up being troublesome in gardens for reasons you mentioned in your video. However, they cause many more serious problems. They replace plants that our native wildlife depend on for their survival. Both animals and insects that we need to bring balance to our ecosystem. There is much, much more to this serious issue than I can now list. Please research plants you want before you buy them. Make sure they are native. There are so many, many gorgeous native plants, which also includes trees. You cannot depend on nurseries or the big stores to sell only natives. They won’t do it. They count on the ignorance of their customers. Native habitat means nothing to them.

Hate this videos because which maybe not good in your area is just fine in others like lily of the valley grows great here I have it and because of my climate it does not grow wild and take over so ,just because it's not good for you it doesn't mean it's not Good for someone else.......so don't like these kind of videos.

The narrator needs to know how to pronounce what she is reading about! I cringe when I hear her mangle some common plant names.
