Yeah, I have this lens. It takes me several trial to get one acceptable image in 1/40 of shutter speed. I'm 30+, not an old man, but I think the VR works well only when you are holding really firm and still.

Thèse 2 lenses are not too bad … but why this poor build quality all in plastic including the mount ??? More than that , with the SE version nikon got the opportunity to have some metal version and why not with an aperture ring. viltrox do this and add a sun shade for more or less the same price !!! Is it Viltrox role to show Nikon the right way of building prime lenses ? On my side I re sell the 28 and 40 SE version to buy the Viltrox 35mm f1.8 which is faster , all metal and feels far better on my Nikon Zf and not like a toy. Please Nikon wake up. I am not against a cheap line but please think also to amators who like beautiful and quality objects.

An outstanding presentation on this quite complex and not so intuitive subject of the AUTOOCUS. It is remarkable how precise (and nice) the specialist is presenting this theme. I was rather looking for such a kind of explanation a lot of time and now I keep it as a reference to be revised from time to time while accumulating experience on field.

woah that was the video I needed! I recently had a job where the client always wanted the left eye sharp. It was tough. Finally I had to say goodby to my 850 and get the z9. Still to get through the focus menu wasn't easy for me. And I am shooting with Nikon ever since the famous F2

And what about focus speed and silent operation for video?
@NikonEurope5 күн бұрын
The focus speed is a balance between the camera and lens, however the focus motor as well as the wide aperture in this lens makes it fast, sharp, brilliant up close, and a great performer in low light. The NIKKOR Z DX 24mm f/1.7 does not have in-built VR, however the VR will be actuated when mounted to the camera. The cameras' in-built VR will actuate a 5 VR stabilization Axis, when equipped with the compatible Z body camera. Here is an article explaining how the VR image stabilization for Z-series mirrorless cameras & lenses works: www.nikonimgsupport.com/na/NSG_article?articleNo=000044758&lang=en_SG

Thoroughly detailed. I'm looking for the best way to leave in my prefered back button mode yet be able to easily enable the shutter release focus and suitable mode when I need to occasionally hand the camera to someone else for a group shot or whatever. If I shoot in Custom Settings Bank A (in menu) with AF activation OFF, that allows me to focus only using the AF=ON button on the back top of the body. Then once my focus point has been locked in I can move the frame as needed without worry of it re-focussing. But that's too hard to explain to someone else. So what I do is set the Custom Settings Bank B with AF activation ON. Unfortunately, focus area modes apparently cannot be preselected per each Custom Settings Bank. Then of course there's the Shooting Banks, A-D within the settings banks. Very confusing.

Probably the greatest camera Nikon has ever made....yes Z9 is awesome yes d700 is a legend, I don't mean the z50 is the best camera but as an over all package I believe it's Nikons finest camera, I don't know what the engineers decided behind the scenes but take a look at the specs this camera offers, they threw everything at it and more

You cannot connect home wifi to camera. Need to be in WiFi mode and go to your mobile network and select WiFi network option. There you will see Nikon as one of the wifi connection. You should select it to connect your camera to your mobile. But I don't know the password, so unable to connect with my mobile. Need help for default password Once its connected, then We can see all the photos in mobile

The music that comes with your presentation is very irritating and annoying. If you have really something to say, you wound need any music. Don't copy things like putting music just because now a days it's common to do it.

Dear Ricci and Amy! These instructions could be sooooo helpful! But - you seem to forget that youtube works "worldwide" and not everybody unterstand english so well - especially when you are talking like a machine gun... There is indeed no need to rush! It's for everybody much easier when you go a) slowly, step by step b) clearly and slowly speaking and explaining what you are doing and why c) show the menue-pics much longer, so that we can follow it "live" and do these steps while you explain them...Pleeeeeease! Thank you very much!!! Rolf

Since I started taking pictures with Nikon F cameras I haven't regretted it for a moment. Whether product or image quality, handling or reliability, or overall performance items: the spark of affection, admiration and enthusiasm never ceased to ignite my joy in a photographer's job. This love story goes back to 1971; now I'm 76, and this kind of heartbeat goes on;-)) @philosimot
