Hii! I am struggling w my confidence. What are some tips?❤
@binkymenloughflashy10854 ай бұрын
Hi @Josieshorselife , I'm sorry to hear you're struggling with your confidence. If it's jumping that is the issue I'd go back to basics and start with pole work exercises. This can make flatwork more interesting for you both as well as getting used to the sight of poles, even though they're placed on the ground there is no expectation to jump them. Try setting out a course of poles on the floor and when you feel confident with trotting or cantering these move up to small crosses, these only need to be a couple of inches off of the floor. Try and think about the feel, touch and smell of your 🐴 whilst you're onboard if you find yourself worrying. Believe in yourself, celebrate each achievement however small, you can do this! 💪🏼🥰

Thank you very much, it's taken a few years but it feels as though we're making some progress. I'm sure you'll get there with your mare 🥰 It helped Binky slow down and think when we set up grid work exercises.
