I understand these races are supposed to be tough and challenging but the course should have been rerouted. Many of the people entering the race are just hoping to finish and have spent a lot of money to enter and get there. Not to mention the financial impact of damaging your bike.

At age 27 (in 2024) he's the guy that has the best chance of consistently beating Keegan (age 30). Almost all the other names are in their 30's, they're not going to beat Keegan. Though my KZfaq watching self has to hope for one Dylan Johnson miracle win just for the backward hat entertainment.

It seems like Alexey has the fitness to challenge Keegan, but he lacks the technical skills, and therefore has to spend more energy during the race. Even in this quick shot Keegan gained a bike length on him.

Just watched again...the storytelling/editing on this is absolutely elite. Kudos to the production team. If this episode alone were on Netflix I have no doubt that it would go viral.

Really Cool Show .... I went to the first Sea Otter Classics ... Still looks amazing and down home !

I'm in Europe and watch a lot of road racing on Eurosport and Discovery. Admittedly I'm a purist. This coverage has some great race footage. But there's way too much footage of the commentators, the show, the " lifestyle" footage. Too little info on the course ( no Profile), and not enough focus on the actual racing. The music in the background is frivolous. I get it, you're trying to attract USA viewers and they are used to all this fluff. But it detracts from the racing.

Per his interview with Trainer Road recently it's about 480. Unreal.

So many great things about this format. Thank you LTGP, Cold Colab, and all involved in this level of production quality. Lots of great feedback from the posters here as well. On race format, is there a reason these races don't have a similar start style to USAC or UCI races? I guess I am expecting to see a countdown, a whistle-start, or something similar. I know this is not UCI or USAC but it feels odd for the race announcer to be talking and say "GO!" almost randomly. Also, why was there no interview with the winner of the women's race? In Season 1 we heard from her but didn't hear much from her in Season 2. Are we goning to hear from her this year?

Why did that guy just sat on his A after he fell down? And don't tell me it hurts or he is seriously injured, blah, blah, blah.....I've been riding since Ultegra 600....m'kay!
