New subscriber and I own a 99EXL accord with only 62k miles on it. I just changed the cabin air filters and yes they are in correctly but I noticed the middle A/C air outlets have very little air flow. The driver and passenger out let’s are fine. The A/C also does not feel as cool need to check it with a temp gauge. The scanner says all switches open and close properly. I’m definitely going to check the system your way. Great video and thanks for sharing. 👍. Artie. Any inputs greatly appreciated

that sir was one of the best explanations I have seen for the removal of this pan. other guys are taking the entire drive shaft apart. And like bucket man below, I was attempting to do it in my driveway. I just found out that a friend of mine has a full garage with a lift in his house. I'll be there this weekend with my pan gasket and o ring. Thanks for the excellent tutorial.

Great video, I wish I could do this myself but with back issues it’s impossible for me. How much does something like this usually cost , parts and labor for a 2020 TRD OR?

Very good video, and instructions. But after taking out that hose, I noticed it was in decent shape and no leaks. Could it be another hose in that area that would cause it to be dripping coolant down from the EFI?

did you do this job because you had a misfire on one cylinder or more than 1 cyl? i only have a misfire on cylinder # 5 i have replaced the fuel the plug and the coil. now I'm going to do a valve job on # 5 and I will check 4 and 6 while I'm in there.

Hi Phillip, I just replaced the master and slave cylinder on my 01 7.3 Powerstroke. Now after not having any issues with the previous master/Slave cylinder my clutch pedal is getting stuck and feels like it has air in the system. Is there a way to bleed the air out of the system? I bought a prefilled South Bend clutch kit.

Damn I watched this thinking it was going to be easy. I then read the comments and apparently since I have the 4x4 model it’s a lot harder. Really didn’t want to have to bring it in to the shop if I didn’t have to

Just unbolt the motor mounts and jack up the oil pan with a 2x4 and the then put 2x4s under motor mounts. Remove oil sensor first.

Hey I have it’s same motor. How did you do this without removing the crank pulley and belts. I always thought that if you change the tensioner. You should replace the belt. My situation is that the the water pump and components have been replacedd before except for the hydraulic tensioner. Can I do this without removing the every (minus the timing covers)
@FixItPhillip
@FixItPhillip 24 күн бұрын
You have to remove the crank pulley and lower timing cover, I took off the cover and reinstalled the crank pulley to be able to show the issue clearly

@FixItPhillip thank you! I just hve 2 more questions though, it is possible to do this without having to fix a potential surging idle with a Honda OBD code reader and reset it? Could I just disconnect the battery, leave the TB hooked up clean the TB and get away with no surging idle after I put it all back togther and start the engine?
@FixItPhillip
@FixItPhillip 24 күн бұрын
@brandonlogan2600 you can try a battery disconnect for about 10 min to see if it'll clear the code

I heard the timing belt pulley tensioner bearing is a little dry sound you should just change everything timing belt kit so engine last another 100K miles or more. Next time buy a car with timing chain.

I thought he saved my life. The truck started running but it was only for a minute. But it was enough for me to pay $239 for a towing. He is right, this is how you diagnose and solve but it might not give you enough time to drive. It was my first signal for the issue. If you have a problem with your fuel pump, just replace it before you drive
