Warns you about electric fields killing you then installs solar. Sits for hours in front of computer screens and phones warning you away from electricity He 56 and looks older than me and I'm 76. Neither ones looks younger than their years. Who is tending the animals at the end of the day? Doesn't have his own cow. Gets his milk from the Amish? Some trailer with the chicken. Dual wheels on the axles. He sells wood? Who's cutting it? It's fake and a money making cult

Psychiatrists know that once somebody is fooled it's nearly impossible to convince them that they have been fooled. Doesn't matter what proof you present that they are fooled. Cults are like that

Hardware cloth is pretty tough if you have raccoons. They wiped out my first batch of 35 quail. Gruesome. They are in a shed now being small with a large greenhouse fan and safe lighting. I can open the doors during the day before predators come out. Not too many coyotes and foxes around. I trapped a skunk instead of a raccoon or wascilly wabbit. That's nerve wracking releasing one.

Figures I had the job of releasing a skunk. My guy was too chicken but will release accident catches like birds and squirrels.

Much of what you mention makes sense. However stress technically is not always a bad thing. It is when it persists. But sports is generally also a stressor to the body. I have done a lot of ice swimming. Head above water! And it was life changing. Feeling one with nature, feeling invigorated, tapping into your energy, doing this as a group is also a major added factor that is often forgotten. The extreme stress it gives, makes you connect to you support, the people you do this with. So I recommend to all who are willing to try.

@HillsideHomesteading Also had one of those cats gave birth in a boat we had when my husband was still alive. They were all stillborn and the poor girl kept on trying to revive them and moved them nextdoor and wouldn't let anyone near them. Heartbreaking. Eventually she got fixed and lived a long life til her heart went.

Quit whining , gossiping and making this a public display. If you are Christians , if you read your Bible then you know better. And don't please don't label people as hill billies or anything or using what " other people think or say, its hear say and unchristian. Quit worrying about what other people are doing and just go about your own business. This just makes you look stupid.

Outside you may have better luck. I had some monster sized but mostly little too unlike last year. Oh well. Must've been that heat wave weeks back that killed them off early. My reds are always little too. Grow bags are the easiest way to grow them I've found. Raised beds but they are harder to find and get volunteers the next year. I'm still trying to find my grand neices and nephews. We all moved around now can't find them. Asked a couple of family members and they don't know either. Glad you found some. Guess on the other side there's a bunch that used to live in Dearborn but my aunt isn't quite there anymore sadly to ask. Dementia

Thanks for this. I watched that bearded guy a couple of times but when I courteously, thoughtfully, politely non-politically tried to join a conversation in the comments with my own thoughts, he took a shot at me, calling me "part of the problem." I was stunned at this reaction, it was like saying: you don't speak here unless you agree with everything I say!! No other opinions matter!

You need to mind your own business. This is far out of line. Nobody would “fake” being a homesteader. I have no clue where you got this nonsense from but sounds like you don’t need to be running a homestead if you like drama.
