Given Hollywood's current tendency to make EVERYTHING "woke", I have grave doubts about this remake. BTW, the ONLY time in the original film where you saw Fonda fully nude was the opening credits, and THAT was only for a few seconds. The rest of the times she appeared "naked", she was COMPLETELY covered, to the point where the film could have been rated PG

I wouldn’t mind TV movies exploring perhaps the comics or other novels based on the show that ironically was based on a series of books to begin with. But if there’s a good enough story to be adapted why not?

It probably struggled in the later seasons because they strayed from the books. Sookie and Eric become a couple, and it explores the blood ties they have after drinking his blood multiple times and whether that is her loving him or if he has control over her because of it. Is it love or just the blood tie keeping her attracted to Eric and Vice Versa. Still don't feel who she ends up with in the books is appropriate either. Either way I still love the show for its own merits and the books as well.

Got the role of Obi-Wan, and is from the UK because he was born in British Columbia. Just because he’s from there doesn’t mean he’s British lmao

I have read the Sookie Stackhouse novels, probably four times, and there’s 14 books in the series and an extra book with short stories. This would be great inspiration for all the gaps and holes that was in the TV series but honestly nothing compares to how good the books were. I could just reread those over and over again and be satisfied. There was so much untold about Sookies heritage with the Fae, and really interesting dynamics with her cousin Claude and her uncle ( who looks like Jason’s twin brother they are so similar) and her grandfather. I also was really sad that one of my favorite characters and one of Sookie‘s favorite vampires in the books was not brought into the TV series. Her favorite vampire was a vampire named Bubba who is actually Elvis Presley! The books are so juicy❤

I think people are overthinking how well the script and acting played out.If he was a more experienced actor at the time and they didn't rush through it the movie would have came out a lot better and Hayden could have performed the role better and he did mention he felt like it was too handed to him. But personally though I think he performed the role just fine because besides the script writing and bad timing for Haydens acting career, He delivered the perfect personality for the role however and thats what made it all worthwhile and made for a more fulfilling watching experience for him and the audience as well. :)

It wouldn't be the same with different actors/actresses playing the characters but they should do one on the kids and maybe some of the original actors/actresses could continue in as the parents that would be soo freaking good I bloody miss this show

Im so glad that now he's getting the love and appreciation he always deserved from the beginning. Back in the early 2000s especially after Episode 2 he got unfair criticism but I always thought he played Anakin perfectly. To be fair though it was mostly the "normie" fans, not the hardcore Star Wars fans that didn't appreciate his take on Anakin. In Episode 2 he was SUPPOSED to be angst ridden, hot headed and temperamental. That was intentional. Then in Episode 3 he got criticized for being unemotional and robotic at times, but again, that was Anakin's progression towards the Dark side and a reaction to the trauma he had gone through. He was always trying to cage his emotional side and be stoic. Only people that don't understand how Lucas wrote the character are quick to critique Hayden's performance but I have always said he was brilliant. NOW he gets tins of love and respect from the Fandom which is great but it should have always been there

While I agree a reboot picking up where the original series left off would be a bit dull. I don't think there were a lack of other ideas to try. With ageless vampires, you could easily use the same actors to do some sort of prequel. TBH, I always wished the movie "The Northman" was about Eric's character from this show and not just a non connected Viking. That would have made for a cool look into the past, to pickup right around when Eric was turned by Godric, and show his early years as a Vampire Viking. I feel like they had some rowdy years together, and that could make for good viewing if rated R and the violence wasn't held back. Especially with a movie's budget for the action, would be so much better than the show could ever pull off.

Can I just say, thank Christ they didn’t reboot the show, they would have ruined it. Since it was based on a book series, once it ends, that show should end as well. We can just enjoy the show that we have and let it as it is.

He actually did use a stunt double for the Star Wars films but that was only for the stunts that were deemed way too dangerous for the actors to do like the delete scene where they walk over the long pipe in the hanger, they used body doubles seeing as they were high up and there was higher risk, so for stunts like that yes he did use one, for the rest it was all him, just need to watch the special feature on the dvds to see it, and no point saying I’m wrong because I watched those like crazy when the movies came out

Who would have thought Berk is one of the "chosens". These guys practically runs Hollywood and does all kinds of sick stuff with absolute impunity. Harvey Weinstein, Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislane Maxwell and this Berk character. Seems to runs in the family. No wonder the investigation never took off.
