Great tips and guidance on how to do a Great Speech Evaluation in Toastmasters regular meetings. What we found out is that many members are a shy to Evaluate others. It requires extra strength and confidence, which requires a few meetings to reach. In addition, Clubs are facing the issue that members rotation increases. So the knowledge and know-how to run evaluations is challenged. Videos like this one are important to educate members. In addition making ALL meeting attendees evaluate speakers using a digital tool like "Toast Club" is a great way to familiarize them with the Toastmasters official evaluation forms, and the related criteria. They get use to the way to evaluate Speakers, and it boosts their motivation to do an evaluation Speech.

Look at everyone, not only test speaker. Ultimately is a performance. Highlight the good thing only, focus on improvements, give some examples. Focus objective of the deeper, be unique. Demonstrate how to become better. Use time wisely

Thanks for sharing this simple yet powerful skill. Smiles! I learnt it early as a young student... a big shout-out to my dear teacher (Mr. Alabi) who groomed me. What a coincidence... the "pause skill" was part of what I taught my student in our tutorial class today while helping him with his valedictory speech preparation. I look forward to hearing him deliver a great speech!

I have my first evaluation tomorrow and was looking for ways to make it more spicy. I have watched several evaulations and found many of them to be boring, as the evaulators seem more concerned with being perceived as `nice` rather than helping out the fellow TM. Your video was excellent and I can see why you won. I am actually excited to watch your evaluations next. I would happily subscibe but are you still posting, this was 6 years ago?

HIGHLY NOTED. 1 - NEVER MOVE YOUR EYES BUT MOVE IT AROUND. 2 - NEVER MAKE ANY WEIRD MOVE WITH YOUR HAND BUT MOVE IT NATURALLY. 3 - NEVER MOVE AROUND BUT MOVE WITH DIRECTION. 😎😎😎😎
