Música celestial para los oídos . La Señora dotada de linda voz y buen gusto , Plácido buen acompañante y valga la redundancia , y mejor acompañado . En fin , algo delicioso por lo que él alma se recrea y se apacigua .

Victoria was the most interesting singer of the second part of the twentieth century. Her repertoire started in the Medieval period and continued through the Renaissance , Classical, Romantic and Modern eras. Opera and song in German, French, English and of course Spanish languages. She sang well into her 70's, her artistry and sound virtually intact. The most catholic of artists.

Quelle magistrale leçon de chant et de style. Cette artiste était véritablement touchée par la grâce divine! Montserrat Caballé disait dans une interview : "Maria Callas était la plus grande mais mon rêve c'était Victoria de los Angeles" "María Callas era la más grande pero mi sueño era Victoria de Los Ángeles." !!!

An amazing recital from the amazing Victoria. In her seventieth year she continues to sound as she always did. No wobble or any sign of age. Here she takes quite a chance singing with a guitar quartet. The Montsalvage songs are wonderful, full of fire and color. These are songs she first recorded in 1962. The Dowland songs show the unique color of her voice. She was very much the most interesting singer of the second half of the Twentieth Century. A gorgeous Song of the Birds.

De chaval por esta restransmisión por TVE en 1988 me aficioné para siempre a la zarzuela, pero con este alto nivel no es frecuente verla. En disco me encanta la versión de Ros Marbá también con Kraus y la maravillosa María Bayo.

A lovely duet sung very beautifully. A pity the opera itself suffers from a lackluster argument such that, for me anyway, by the time Selika faces her denouement, I couldn't care less. lol Aside from the tenor's tour de force Pays merveilleux, and maybe this, the music is just suitable. Be that as it may, watching these two opera legends give the work the high gloss finish it needs is a pure delight. All examples of their artistry simply must be found and preserved for all to enjoy in perpetuity.

Caballé atomise nombre de prétendantes... 35 ans de carrière et toujours royale. Étonnamment,elle sera très supérieure à Barcelone l'année suivante (j'y étais). La voix était d'une splendeur inouïe : puissante (la patte Caballé), projetée, très impliquée.. Je lis ici ou là certaines critiques de gens qui n'ont visiblement jamais vu et entendu Caballé sur scène. La voix était juste "énorme". Écrire qu'elle n'avait pas la voix pour chanter Isolde est juste d'une profonde débilité.
