enjoyEd this video and watched your vid. on distributor replacement and was wondering wHEre you purchased replacement distributor and how long it lasted [ is it still running well ?]
@diydan70192 күн бұрын
Haven’t had any issues and it’s probably been about a year and a couple months on the distributor And it has about 6500 miles on it so far I did get it off of Amazon I thought I put the description in the video as far as which one I got off of Amazon.

If the actuator doesn’t move at all when you rev is that a sign that’s it’s bad. I think so but just wanted to be sure before I replace
@diydan70192 күн бұрын
Yes but it could also be not getting told to move if there is a wiring issue but i would suspect a bad actuator

Yes, when I was describing them, they were not in water but obviously I was running the pump when I was testing the temp with and without them

Very well done video. Clear, Concise, and included potential gotchas to watch out for. Thanks.

@5:53 - the swamp cooler also makes a good powerful child/pet safe fan ( turn off the pump).
@firstlast-pt5pp4 күн бұрын
@3:32 - you want to kill the things that make the odor - the bad odors may indicate harmful stuff to your health ( just make it smells good can be dangerous). I use aquarium UVC inside the unit to disinfect (7 actual watts output for about $12 - hard to find more powerful ones) - 1 hour of 7 watt UVC daily should be enough for the capacity/volume.

What kind of gravel or sand did you use for the pit? I would imagine that too fine of a sand would clog up the holes of the burner

Bad info. Vinegar is mild compared to bleach but still harmful to the coil. Instead, pan tablet solution should be used.
@diydan70198 күн бұрын
Once again, the vinegar is never touching the coil, so I don’t understand the concept there there should be an air gap between the coil and the pan I put a little bit of vinegar in the pan. It’s never going to make contact with the coil.

Nice video, I also have a 2017 and I’m giving the same message you were intermittently. Before I change the brake controller I was going to check the ground, but I’m not sure which tab to connect to on the receptacle, can you clarify which one is the ground?
@diydan701913 күн бұрын
Look up 7 pin rv connector diagram on google and it should come up usually on newer receptacles it’s also on the cover of the connector on the truck

I noticed that you poured vinegar in the evaporator unit drain(not referring to the extra drain pan below the evaporator unit). I watched another video where they said do not pour vinegar in the evaporator unit. It can corrode the metal within the evaporator unit. Vinegar will not cause a problem inside PVC piping.
@diydan701926 күн бұрын
If you notice the fittings going into my unit are pvc and from what I could see it appeared to be a plastic pan in my unit as well so I figured it was not a problem plus it was a one time flush it would take a long time of constant vinegar to cause it to eat threw a pan made of metal.
