I have a 2918 Dodge Caravan came with the satellite radio Sirius and an OEM backup cam. Can the original wiring from the backup cam be used for this setup? Very interested to dobthis upgrade. Good video with a wealth of information on how to open the cluster. Thank you

Your OEM Camera can be integrated into the aftermarket screen but it requires a cable that converts the OEM backup Cam wire to RCA which then connects to the aftermarket screen. You will have to source the adapter online. I’m not sure about the Sirius Satellite Radio.

Before you pull plugs out, get some little stickers of different colors, then put a red one on a plug, and red one on the socket it was removed from, etc. Same with Light Bulbs so you know which socket this bulb goes in, so you don't press the Brakes and your Reverse light turns on!

Thanks for showing me how to install it! I'm going to try and get the wires to go down into that open compartment in the lighter colored plastic, below the dash, so it plugs into my cell phone which I will keep in there.

It’s not hard as there is a lot of room to work with on the Dodge Caravan. Easy to route the wires around/behind the dash.

I bought it from Alibaba. There are different models online you can choose from. You can also search on AliExpress. Just search Dodge Caravan Screen and you will get the results. Make sure to ask the seller if their screen is plug n play and includes the harness. High beams are aligned nicely but the low beams were off a bit and I had to adjust them.

You can find the cable on Amazon and as for the steering wheel buttons try contacting the vendor you purchased the screen from.

Thanks for the sensible and informative video! Does the car have the blind spot sensor? I have read in Chrysler forums that you need to keep the original UConnect radio for this to keep working or substitute it with some Maestro RR module...

Wonderful video except for the sound. Why dont you speak up man if you are doing a useful video geeez. Keep the mic close to your mouth. I have issued you a dislike for the sound reason only. Nothing wrong with my laptop. Commercials are loud and clear

You used the wrong oil. Should be VW 508 spec OW20. Different spec than Dexos 0W20 which is not meant for VW/Audi/Porsche.

Just got the unit like this and it only works until I turn off my 2016 grand caravan for 5 min. After that my unit not turning on the screen. It stays connected to my iphone, I can play music make calls but screen stays just off. Only way to turn screen back on is to hit reset button but then everything repeats. It stays on until vehicle turns off. Any Idea?

It’s best if you contact the manufacturer that you purchased the screen from. Sounds like a wiring issue.
