Nice location, not the best camping spot. Where I live cows are on the field from dawn to dusk and just before it's gets too dark they release the guard/shepherd dogs to herd them back to the pens. A lot of these dogs nowadays are pretty aggressive, I had a lot more trouble with dogs then with wildlife. The next problem is flies, so many flies.

Buy once and not more hopefully it will last me some time when I do a video ill explain why I've gone off down sleeping bags

Hey!! I have a piece of foil doubled over that I use under my stove to protect the grass, it works a treat. Might be worth getting a windshield to protect your stove and stop losing the heat so much. Have a great weekend! 🥰

It works better in less windy conditions, I’ve used one block for a water boil and was great but had no wind ….. have you got a wind shield?

GPS is a very handy tool but a lot of people rely on them rather than learning how to use a paper map and compass, The number of people I have come across using the map on their phone, they were doing well until the phone battery dies 😞

It was going well till your fingers covered the camera 😞 There are sites where you can log your boxes location - so that others can find it - and also get grid or GPS marks for other boxes to go and find

Make the occasional call or text with the spare phone. I had a Tesco sim (operated by EE, I think) that was used as a back up, after 12 months of not being used it was disconnected and can now only make 999 calls. It was a PAYG phone and as I had no proof that it still had credit on it or that I actually owned the phone, I also was unable to get a refund on the credit

Top vid again, those stoves are great but you need foil under it or get yourself a plumber's soldering mat👍
