Hi James, I notice you posted the BBC music doc "Eighties" years ago but it was blocked by publishers. Any chance you have a copy I can get hold of? I had it for years on VHS and someone nicked it. I'm on a mission to get hold of it. I'd be forever grateful...

Hi - this is my copy of it. Unfortunatley the tape was scored as it got played a lot back in the day! bit.ly/musicofthe80s

Oh man! I can remember laughing my ass off to this, back in the day. My favorite bit? Lenny's mum "I would have to explain to people that it wasn't my fault" as she whacks him- just like my mam used too, to me. Lenny was bloody brilliant.

Jamaica aint like that now. They don't need to travel for angst and stress. But they might want to get away from people moaning that it's a third world country.

The poo-poo pourai advert before this video is turning themselves into a laughing stock. Beautiful women watch their diet and excercise and therefore do not HAVE stinky shit due to their cared for metabolism. They's even be pleasant to fuck up the arse. This pritty woman in a blue dress would not survive a douche ad for having a phussy pussy. This ad should be more honest and have an obese junk eating ugly sow of a woman ,which this ad is really targetting

Thanks a lot for sharing this! I watched it all. Strange thing, at least half of the artist and groups are completely unknown here in Russia although according to the documentary, they are notable in the UK. I guess here in USSR in 1980s most popular were artists from Continental Europe (Germany, Italy, France), for example Modern Talking here is like one of the most famous artists of 1980s.

Sorry guys - the copyright police have muted the sound while they decide if this video poses a clear and present danger to their revenue stream. I'm hoping normal service will be resumed after not too long which is why I'm leaving it up for the time being.

the wham episodes clearly mark the many styles in a short time, from 83/84 more glam like, biginning 80s was more 70s influenced imo- and from then it went more big hair and big clothes, 890s had soo many styles. The music overall was good- prefab Sprout being one of the best.
@MultiMrMiles11 жыл бұрын
you did right with this homes- 80s were off course the best decade- anybody lived it will agree.
