How do I get the 10K bonus from the manhole covers? Do I attack it?

You neutral jump & attack (maybe just the jump is enough) on a very specific pixel. I found that being just above the top-centre of the manholes works best. There's other spots like this in the game but they're a real pain to get. If you have the power-up where you're invincible & fast, riding on top of the fireball, you'll uncover them just by passing over their location

It's just down to the way the car turns. It has several frames of turning animation, unlike say Pacman who simply faces up, down, left or right when you turn him. If you try to do lots of turns in a tight space then the car can clip through the walls sometimes

the reason why BLAT is at the highest scoring position, because the motion of his throwing has the longest duration of all character. if you can use an auto-fire with 30Hz, you will be able to get closer to WR. if you hold down the button with the auto-fire for the duration of his throwing motion, the score of throwing will be added at a rate of 30Hz for that duration. and then, release the button for throwing and press the button for jump at the same time to cancel the throw, just before the moment when the throwing motion is completed and the opponent is slammed to the ground. by this way, you can gain scores only without taking any damage to the opponent. the theoretical score using BLAT is over 8000000.

@@ohfivepro yes, yes! its exactly looks like this. like this scoring bug that is common in old games. the same bug exists in a fighting-game of "Dragon Ball Z (1993/BANPRESTO)". in that game, the score for a throwing is not set, and the score of attack or move that used just before is applied directly to the score of the throwing. CAPCOM's "CAPTAIN COMMANDO" also has a similar scoring bug. in "CAPTAIN COMMANDO", not only throwings, but attacks using firearms also have the same scoring bug, so it is the most important point to keep the rocket-launcher or other firearms with you at all times, if you want to get a high score.

You can time a jump to land just before he stands up, where he can then be thrown but the timing is strict Claudia can be repeatedly thrown when she is against the wall. there's something magical about this particular sound chip... not sure if it's the same sound designers, but definitely the same sound chip. i've heard it used in Emeraldia and it's just as charming over there!

you wouldn't need to try and rush the boss in a 1cc. I only do that as st.2 has slightly better earning potential than destroying all of the boss parts safely based on the time limit. Aside from that, the strategy would be much the same

It's much more valuable. A half poison bottle is 10,000, a full one is 20,000. The next highest value item is the rod but it's only 5,000

It's a shame that the score can be completely broken when you have unlimited playtime but at least the caravan mode removes that problem & makes you think of new ways to earn quickly. Now to try & relearn the whole game as I've not played through it all in forever
